It is Pet-Friendly (Additional Fee, Per Pet, Required. Limit 2 Pets)

It has 4 Private Queen Bedrooms, as well as 2 Private Bunk Rooms....both of those rooms have a Bunk Set, with a double on the bottom and a single on top.

This building and the grounds are beautiful. The great room is spacious and we appreciated the number of towels and dishes/cookware. We do have a few suggestions. The 4 head rests in the hot tub are all missing. We could not get the fireplace lit and there was snow covering the back deck and entryway which we shoveled upon our arrival. This area would have benefitted from salt as there was quite a bit of ice.

Excellent house for 14 people.

The great room and kitchen were very accommodating for our group of 14! The bedrooms were perfect. Loved the long table and that the main building had been a church.

We loved our time together! One of the things we did was look up the history of the church. Very interesting! The location was perfectly located close to caves and other fun things to do.

Perfect place to stay for a large family.

Our family had a wonderful time at Chapel Valley Lodge. The place was perfect for us. The amenities were great. We had 6 couples stay (our elderly parents and 5 siblings and their spouses). There was plenty of space and privacy. The history of the property was interesting to explore. We would highly recommend for large families and would definitely book again.

Great Chapel

Clean, well-appointed, and spacious. No dishwasher and air conditioning runs colder than thermostat, but otherwise, no complaints. Not the most private of locations, but the building and the grounds are very nice. Well-supplied and lighting is good, too.

Great place!

This is such a neat place to gather! We loved the clean, open spaces, the character, the nicely designed kitchen and plenty of room to seat a crowd. Little touches like night lights and lots of towels were much appreciated, as was the welcome of our dogs. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and we even crowded around the piano to sing holiday carols. A great way to convene family for special events. Thank you!

Great for Families

We loved the great open space in the house and the gorgeous dining room table big enough for our entire family! The space is beautifully redone and is very comfortable. The bedrooms are all roomy and the bunk beds are the best bunk beds we’ve ever used - incredibly sturdy and felt safe for kids on the top. Kitchen was very well stocked, we enjoyed some of the DVDs available, and the hot tub was nice. The air hockey, foosball, and pool tables were all a surprise and were played all weekend long. Would definitely stay again!

Great place for a NYE getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Chapel Valley Lodge. The main room was wonderful and provided a great place to gather, but also room to spread out. The pool table was an added bonus not featured in the pictures. As others have mentioned, there is no dishwasher, which was not ideal but manageable. The queen bedrooms were all the same size, which alleviated squabbling over who gets which room. We would definitely book again!

Great house for a family gathering.

Water pressure was very low. Could only run one thing at a time. One of the tubs drained really slow. We loved the private location and the large kitchen family room combination.

Chapel Valley stay

The house was clean and tidy, the kitchen was adequately stocked, but for a venue designed to accommodate up to 14 people a 2nd refrigerator would have been preferred. The house was cleaned just before our stay, but the housekeepers did not leave enough toilet paper or dish soap and they diluted the hand soap. All in all it was a nice stay.

Perfect Place to Host a Celebration!

My family had a wonderful stay at Chapel Valley Lodge to celebrate my husbands 41st bday! The lodge was spacious, private, & spotless clean which we really appreciated. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of supplies to cook & grill all weekend long. The firepit was comfortable & fun & there are a few grocery stores within a 7 mile radius. There isnt much cell reception in this area, but i was able to connect to the wifi & make calls from thw kitchen area. Plenty of towels & wash cloths for the group & a good amount of toilet tissue. Great stay overall for my entire group!

Chapel house!

This converted chapel is so great! Plenty of space in the main living area for hanging out. I appreciated that the bedrooms were all about the same size and tucked away from the living area. About a 25-30 minute drive to Conkles hollow and other trails by hocking hills. Downsides: Wish there was a dishwasher to accommodate large groups. One of the showers does not drain well

The property is set up well for large groups. Large gathering room and several outdoor areas also. Our group of 10 was able to congregate when wanted and spread out when needed without even leaving the property

Come visit

What a great cabin! Bring your family and friends. It's updated, has everything you need and has plenty of space. We missed having a dishwasher and were surprised at how close we were to a very quaint cemetery. We enjoyed the close proximity to all that Hocking Hills has to offer. Come visit!

Very Nice

Super nice place, no issues. Was a great weekend getaway with plenty of room. Very cool it’s dog friendly. Would return! FYI the address pulled up about a half mile down the road just look for the church next to the road. Thank you!
