Adorable 1 bed Guest House w/cozy elec. fireplace

This stylish place to stay is perfect for a couple. Tasteful cozy touches throughout to make you feel right at home. Located on 2 1/2 acres off highway 20. Close proximity to Deception Pass state park, hiking trails, Campbell Lake and Mt. Erie. Enjoy the local wildlife while sipping coffee on the covered porch where you can watch eagles, owls, quail and deer. Farm fresh eggs provided upon availability 🐓.
The space
Guest house is situated on 2 1/2 acres surrounded by tall pine trees and nature, hens in the chicken coop (1 Rooster). Enjoy reading a book in the hammock, playing badminton, bocce ball, corn hole, or driving to local state parks.
Guest access
Please don’t enter the chicken coop. But feel free to wander the property otherwise.

We have a Weber Q gas grill, please request when booking or before arrival.

Wonderful stay! The cottage was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located for exploring Washington’s incredible scenery. We loved visiting North Deception Pass State Park and nearby islands like San Juan, Bainbridge, and Whidbey. Cool weather, thoughtful touches at the cottage, and peaceful evenings on the porch made this trip unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Such a relaxing stay

This house is is pretty amazing. Super clean, well stocked, amazing details, coffee and snacks. Seriously, they have thought of everything. We were in the area to visit some of the surrounding areas and this was perfect.

lovely Property great location and very clean and pleasantyou always replied when we needed you. i am a handicapped senior and needed help sometimes and you were there to give me info when needed. i have been in tvl business for many yrs and you are on top of list. will refermy friends who are looking for their next vacation as your place is perfect for ferries proximity and access to san juans and the eggs were very good love your little chicken coop even the chickens live in style

Exceeded Expectations

The Guest house is pretty private and Home owners are very welcoming. Lots of personal touches and décor is charming. Close to all parks and attractions. Would plan to stay here again.

This gorgeous cottage in a small farm setting is an idyllic getaway for a rejuvenating escape. The location is quiet, but with easy access to all the amenities of Fidalgo Island.

Fantastic Stay

Our stay was fantastic! The place far exceeded our expectations with a full size kitchen and snacks to boot! The bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom had all the little things- shampoo, conditioner, q-tips/cotton balls, and hairdryer. This has been our most favorite experience to date!

A lovely oasis during our island sojourn

Douglas and Heather's guest cottage was the perfect landing spot for us while we explored Fidalgo Island and visited family and friends. The cottage is tucked away off the main road, next to the owners' house, with lovely lawns and friendly chickens supplying fresh eggs. It is beautifully appointed and immaculately kept, with a well-stocked kitchen, comfy sitting area, and elegant king-size bed and bath. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there - thank you!

Absolutely amazing!

This property is perfectly located with a short drive to Anacortes and many other natural areas to explore. Highly recommend the farmers market and other local downtown shops. The cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway, and I couldn’t recommend a better place to stay. By far the best Vrbo we’ve stayed in before! (and we do weekend trips frequently in different states) There is so much thought and attention to detail put into the cottage, and Heather and Douglas do a great job making you feel welcome!

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

This was an absolutely perfect weekend getaway location to relax and recharge. Easy access to both downtown Anacortes and to Deception Pass, while still offering the quiet solitude of being just off the beaten path. Communication with host was wonderful and check-in and check-out were painless. The space was clean and filled with little extra touches to make the stay even more lovely... fresh eggs, hand written welcome note, robes and slippers, games, fully stocked kitchen & bathroom, plenty of linens, etc. Highly recommend!

Meeting Bentley was a Bonus

This guest house was a lovely place to stay. Property was exactly as described. The fresh flowers, snacks and plenty of coffee pods (with to-go cups) were much appreciated. Host was super responsive to texts and offered suggestions for shopping, dining and sightseeing. Meeting Bentley (the dog) and his balloon was one of the highlights of our trip. Lovely cottage and quiet stay, even with a rooster

Lovely little cottage with large kitchen and bedroom. Fun games in the cabinet, a few staples in the fridge and on the shelf like a little olive oil and some tea. Lots of good utensils and dishes. Interestingly, several ways to make coffee, but no teapot. Loved the fresh organic eggs from the farm, and the green trees all around, including fruiting blackberry bushes. Surprised this farm did not compost. Not a good place for a walk or jog, as the residential road is short and leads to a noisy main road of 50+MPH with no sidewalk for pedestrians. Would love to have found a step stool on the property, since my spouse and I are on the shorter side, to reach cups and things on the shelves. TV and streaming were easy to use. Evenings were cool with windows open, good screens, and fan available. Amazing fresh flowers. The busy road was not visible, but it was audible from the bedroom and seemed to calm down a bit at night. The rooster didn't make a loud enough crow to be heard through the cottage back wall most of the time. This place is not in the main northern Anacortes area, meaning not near where our whale excursion departed from, but it was close enough that 20 to 30 minutes got us there easily. Enjoyed our stay!
