We had a bachelor party stay at this property for the weekend. If you like nature, want to be in the woods, and enjoy being in the mountains this is definitely a great property to stay at. House was exactly as advertised. A

The cabin is on the side of the mountain with a long walkway from the parking area to the cabin. If you are elderly or find walking difficult, this isn't the place for you. However, if you are traveling with family and want a place with room, a place to sit around a fire pit and enjoy each other, and, in our case, bear who visit the property while you safely observe them from the balcony, you will love this place. The host was great and answered our questions promptly.

This home worked out for our spring break family crew of 8. Plenary of room and we all enjoyed the game room. We were visited every other day during our stay. It would be advisable to read the information regarding bears in your check in portal.

Quiet Stay in the Mountains

We stayed in this house to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The home was a bit smaller than what the pictures seem to show, but it was perfect for us. We only had 4 in our group and never really used the first floor. It was clean, easy to use and exactly what we were looking for. We had a momma and three baby bears visit us one morning during our stay which was the best part! The only thing I didn't like was that any communication had to go through the site we booked through instead of the host. I would have preferred to be able to contact our host directly. Other than that, we had a great time and would highly recommend.

Terrible

The pictures definitely wasn’t up to date. The yard wasn’t manicured at all. It was way over grown. The path up the steps wasn’t lighted very well. The place was FILTHY the floors were black from not being moped in no telling how long. There were crumbs in 2 of the bedrooms. There was black stuff all over the downstairs tub. A lot of the lights were out in the strands everywhere. The appliances were filthy, the windows had hand prints all over them, some of the dishes were broken, or rusted to where you couldn’t use them, there was food still on some of the dishes. The ice maker didn’t work, & the fridge made a terrible noise. I don’t usually complain too much but considering the amount of money that was paid we were all very unhappy.

Had a great trip with the family. Great house in the mountains for peace and quiet. Close enough to town for site seeing. Would book again.
