We had the best experience at this property. Location is wonderful. The hosts are wonderful and communicate well. We found the host to be very helpful and accommodating from the time we arrived until we departed. The pictures truly do not do this place justice. It is closer than it looks to beach access and has easy walking access to a great restaurant at the neighboring resort and is also close to a grocery store that you can walk to. A bus stop is also within walking distance and can be used to get all over the island. we really enjoyed the three dogs on property as well. Cannot wait to return.

Our stay here was perfect. Very clean! This is a great place to stay if you want restful quiet. It is in a very nice neighborhood. The beach access is just over a little path.The whole apartment is well thought out with everything you need.

Could not have asked for a better experience. Rental was clean, modern and well equipped. Full kitchen made it possible to have some meals there. Short walk or ride to the grocery store. Convenient to several places with takeout. Property is adjacent to Cambridge Beaches so you have access to their restaurants. The rental is about 50 feet from, in our opinion, one of the best beaches on Bermuda. Very nice covered outdoor space, beautiful second floor deck where you could see the water. Really nice property. Jo and Jonah were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed meeting them and talking to them during our stay. Being greeted by the dogs always made me smile. Hoping we can get back there soon. Thanks Jo and Jonah. Looking forward to a future visit!

We had a wonderful stay at The Greenhouse. The apartment was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had a great kitchen where we cooked every night. The location is excellent, with a short path providing access to a beach with amazing snorkelling and beautiful sunsets. There is a supermarket within walking distance and there are great bus and ferry links nearby for getting around Bermuda.Jonah and Jo were friendly, welcoming, and very supportive. They lent us bikes and organised our airport taxis, which made everything so easy. Their dogs are lovely, and we enjoyed spending time with them.This is an excellent accommodation option for a trip to Bermuda, we really enjoyed having a base in a quieter residential area whilst still being within easy reach of Bermuda’s main sights and attractions.

We give up. After 4 visits (and counting), we have run out of superlatives. Idyllic in all respects is an understatement. Suffice to say: if you are seeking a rental that is quiet, comfortable, unhurried, welcoming and private, and want it situated in a civilized, safe and high trust locale that also happens to be picturesque from any angle, you will do no better than Jo and Jonah's lovely cottage on the Sea View grounds in Bermuda's West End. Disappointment is unimaginable.

We loved our time at the GreenHouse property - such a comfortable and peaceful cottage. After the sun sets and the heat of the day subsides in August, the rooftop of the house is sheer perfection... no mosquitoes, perfect temperature, light breeze, comfortable seating, music wafting over from CB Beach Bar, and the stars above. Pretty darned magical! Thank you Jo and Jonah for providing this fantastic cottage, located in my favorite part of the island (Sandys). We leave Bermuda refreshed, not ready to leave, and dreaming of the next return.

Wonderful!!!!

Would HIGHLY recommend this property and will definitely return to stay again! Great location, easy walk to the beach, enjoyed sitting outdoors watching the ocean and sunset! Had every thing you needed inside as well, to even grocery bags with cooler bags for your runs to the beach or store. Three great restaurants within walking distance. The host couldn't have been more helpful either from every email I sent beforehand to while we were there! FIVE STAR ALL THE WAY! RUN to this VRBO if you're going to Bermuda!!

Fabulous cottage! This is a great place! The bed and pillows are comfy. The kitchen is fully stocked. The beach is awesome. The restaurant close by is wonderful. Spectacular sunsets! Loved the roof top views. The dogs are super sweet. We had a lovely vacation and look forward to a return trip!

Paradise

The owners, Jo and Jonah, are warm welcoming people. They greeted us when we arrived along with their dogs who live and roam on the property. We fell in love with the dogs! The Greenhouse unit had everything we needed and more......outdoor shower, roof top seating area with ocean view, great kitchen, desk area, Jonah's gorgeous art work abounds, and lush tropical greenery all around. We could walk to the beach in ONE minute! The ocean water all around Bermuda is the most brilliant turquoise color we have ever seen, and crystal clear as well. We enjoyed visiting St. George on the northernmost part of the island, and the Dockyard area close by where the cruise ships come in. There's so much history to learn while you are there. One of the highlights of the trip for me was swimming with dolphins at Dolphin Quest. It's been on my bucket list for years. Check!! Since we did not feel comfortable driving on the left side of the road, we opted to use the bus system. All in all, we totally enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend it.

Best Location

I was a guest at a wedding at Cambridge Beaches. It was the perfect location!The check in and coordination was very helpful, it was amazing service they helped to arrange rides to the airport. It felt very safe, I would love to stay again!

Stop looking…book it if you find availability!

What a find! Tried to rent the Greenhouse last year but couldn’t make the dates work. This year we booked early and so happy we did. The hosts are charming, fun and very helpful. The cottage is fully equipped and extremely comfortable. Don’t hesitate to make this your vacation hideaway! You won’t regret it!

The Greenhouse was AMAZING!!!!

We normally go to Florida for our spring getaway, however the place we had been renting had sold. Left with having to find another place, and have never been to Bermuda we checked VRBO and stumbled on Jo and Jonah's amazing hidden gem. My wife and I fell in love with the Greenhouse , the island , and our hosts, as well as their 3 dogs. We have already committed to going back there next year. Thank you Jo and Jonah for being such great hosts and creating such a beautiful place!!!Todd and Kathy

Highlights of our stay:

Hosts: Friendly, responsive, helpful, good communication.House: Smart modern interior. Good kitchen and bathroom, comfortable furniture. Nice deck and roof garden.Surroundings: Situated in 2 acre wooded estate with an impressive variety of trees and plants. Very quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Private beach is a five minute walk through the trees, and is good for sea swimming and walking, with great sunset views. The hosts’ three dogs have the run of the estate and always give you a friendly greeting. Area: Situated in the quiet Somerset Village area. 15 minute walk to the supermarket, bus stops, restaurants, and the western end of the Railway Trail, which is perfect for long walks or runs. All in all a very good choice for a pleasant stay.

10 star property!

Great property! We will be return! The hosts, Jo and Jonah, are fantastic…very responsive, friendly and accommodating. The cottage is sparking clean thanks to Cassy. The location is perfect for a quiet, relaxing, and rejuvenating vacation. The spa and dining at Cambridge Beaches is conveniently located next door and the private beach is beautiful. The bus stop and grocery store is within walking distance.

Don't think. JUST BOOK!!!

My girlfriend and I stayed at this beautiful property for 10 nights and 11 days. Spent Christmas through New Year. We were greeted by Jonah (the owner) and his 3 puppies that were just over the moon to see us! First impression:1. SO CLEAN and It was a lot larger and spacious in person than looked in the listing. The collapsing glass balcony door was a wonderful surprise that leads to the to the rooftop terrace which overlooks the beautiful beach. We spent a lot of our time here with a cup of joe in the AM and a pina colada I made in the PM.2. MAKE SURE TO READ the helpful literature provided by the owners in the kitchen. It includes the history of the property, intro to the owner's family, instructions, wifi and great local restaurants and markets to try located just a short walk away. (We tried all of them!). 3. The kitchen is VERY well equipped with everything you can possibly think of to make your stay is as comfortable as possible. If you love coffee/latte, make sure to bring your favorite whole beans. They have a great espresso machine that also grinds per serving for the freshest cup of joe.4. They have bikes and kayaks for you to enjoy at no additional cost. I used the bike a lot.5. The owners are EXTREMELY accommodating and LIGHTENING FAST with replies. We travel quite a bit and have stayed in many VRBO's and this place was by far THE BEST OF THE BEST. We're already planning out our next stay here and we CANNOT WAIT!!!

Garden by the sea

The hosts, Jo and Jonah, welcomed us as family; warm, insightful and proud of their paradise in a lovely and humble way. The setting is enchanting and the cottage was immaculate and well equipped. Oh, and the rooftop with lounge chairs and a view of the sea is breathtaking!

Amazing trip

Huge thanks to Jo, Jonah, and the pups you were amazing hosts. We had an exceptional trip. Their property and the accommodations were fantastic. Having breakfast most mornings with Sammy was a wonderful treat for dog lovers like us. We felt like we were sharing a little piece of heaven. Can’t wait to come back.
