Nice to meet you! We’re the Miller family - Chrissy, Jason, Makaria & Calla. Growing up, Jason and I admired from afar those special Maine spots that provided a respite from the hustle & bustle of daily life - “upta camp” getaways where folks gathered for family fun. It’s long been our dream to acquire a home near the ocean, but with Maine’s sought-after coastline, we wondered if that dream could become a reality. In November of 2020, this darling Searsport ranch presented itself to us as an opportunity to make a move on bringing our vision to fruition. Built in 1980 and without updates since its inception, these digs needed some TLC, but the idea of a cozy, colorful cottage was easy to imagine, and it was love at first sight. After seeing the house for the first time, we all took a walk down to the beach and moments after doing so, what did we find? A heart-shaped rock - something our family spends countless hours doing whenever we find our feet in the sand. Like a nod from the cosmos, this was confirmation that we were in the right place! Since that day, we’ve poured our love into this home, refreshing, revamping & restoring every detail. The end result is a modern, fully-equipped happy house that serves as a beautiful backdrop for making memories. Our home is situated right off of route 3 and is just minutes to downtown Searsport and Belfast. Additionally, Camden is only 30 minutes away, Bangor just 40 minutes and Acadia a peaceful 1 hour drive; making our home an ideal 4 season destination where you can explore, relax, hike, swim, boat, ski (both water and snow), leaf peep, take in a concert, hit the casino and eat until your heart is content at all the local delights!
