This is an amazing property in a beautiful setting. Home has everything we needed, was very clean and well furnished inside and outside on the deck which extends the full length of the house. Morning coffee on the deck overlooking the mountain valley is the perfect way to start your day. Close to Great Hiking and Crescent Lake and stop for ice cream at Grannies Cafe on the way back. We’ll definitely return.

Very private location with spectacular view. Large open concept log home with nice fireplace, and huge deck overlooking park like scenery. Kitchen was well stocked with the tools we needed and modern. Didn’t use the tv but it is quite large. Nice furniture in living room and dining room. Cabinet stocked with games for family time. Master bedroom has no door on bathroom and bed is quite high off the ground making it a challenge for short people so I borrowed a chair to help me hop up in it. Beds comfortable and nice bathrooms. We were all impressed.

Beautiful Log Cabin on the Elwha River

We decided to rent this cabin as it was centrally located to the various Olympic National Park sites that we were going to visit on our annual family vacation. The location was perfect. It was a great base camp for our daily excursions. The home is well maintained and has all the comforts of home. The deck was a fantastic place to unwind at the end of the day with spectacular views of the valley and the river below which can be seen by walking across the yard. Well stocked with games for indoor and out fun! Plenty of seating on the deck for a large group.

Great vacay in ONP

We had a fantastic time with our daughter, son-in-law and grandson. The cabin was convenient to ONP, Lake Crescent and Rialto Beach. And very spacious - we ate all our meals at home and hung out as a family!

The home was exceptional. The location and the view are superb. We would come back and experience it all over again. Everything was nicely decorated. It was perfect for out family gathering.

One of the BEST vacation homes ever!

Fantastic, secluded, modern cabin.

Really an amazing property. Located by itself in the Olympia Range, you have ultimate seclusion in a clean, modern log cabin. Views forever of the forrest and mountains and Elena River with many nearby outdoor activities. Town of Port Angeles is about a 10 minute drive for groceries and restaurants. Also, easy access to Freshwater Bay and Lower Elwha River. Host was responsive and available. Property is safe with locking driveway gate. Just an amazing place to stay with your family to get back to nature, have some seclusion, have access to a variety of things to do outdoors, but also not be too far away from civilization.

Perfect Stay in Olympic National Park

Kiana, our host, was amazingly responsive and gave us great advice about the area. The cabin is in a great location on the northern edge of the park - just 10 minutes from Madison Falls and a gorgeous part of the Elwha River. The area surrounding the cabin and the cabin itself made it hard to leave it. Port Angeles and the entrance to Hurricane Ridge was only 15 minutes away. If you want to visit the northern part of the park it is a must stay booking and the drive to the Hoh River, Rialto Beach and Sul Duc Falls is any easy day trip. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

Fabulous retreat from the heat!

We absolutely loved this property and location. It is close to Lake Crescent, several waterfalls and hot springs, Hurricane Ridge and not too far from town for groceries, restaurants, shopping and whale watching. Communications were clear and timely. We hope to visit again one day!

Olympic Weekend

Magical views and beautiful log home

This property is absolutely magical. I’m from Port Angeles and rented this place as a getaway for my grandmothers birthday. It was everything we wanted for our family. They had all the necessities such as coffee, seasonings, oil and sweetener for your coffee in the morning. There was more than plenty room for the kids to run around and play hide and seek then rest up in the evening and watch movies. Kiana was a dream to work with. She had good and prompt communication. Will definitely stay again for another getaway.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay here. Beautiful cabin that was very spacious, huge front and back yard, and gorgeous panoramic mountain views. Highly recommend. We came for hiking and were able to make numerous hikes each day. Some 6 minutes away, most within 20 min, and hall of Mosses was less than 2 hour drive.

Too good to be true

The most stunning setting in the Olympic national park. 15 mins from downtown port Angeles and easy driving distance from everything you’ll want to see in and around the park. The house itself was spotless, comfortable and super functional for a family of 4 with 2 young kids. We will be back!

Elwha Rivers Edge is owned and operated by The Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe.

Historically, Klallam people lived throughout the Northern Olympic Peninsula and were united by language and kinship. Villages were on both sides of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. There were approximately 33 village sites from the Hoko River in the west to the Puget Sound in the east. Downtown Port Angeles was once a thriving Klallam village known as č̕ixʷícən (Tse-whit-zen).

The Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe welcomes all guests with open arms to come and stay, and learn a little bit about who we are.
