Bungalow on a 3 acre mini farm in beautiful Campobello SC

This is a garage apartment bungalow in beautiful Campobello SC, 5 miles to Main Street in Landrum SC, 25 minutes to downtown Spartanburg, 40 minutes to downtown Greenville SC, and about 45 minutes to Asheville NC. Many small North Carolina towns like Tryon, Saluda, Columbus, and Hendersonville are 15 minutes to 40 minutes away. Chimney Rock is about 45 minutes away. Harmon Field with all its beautiful amenities is a 12 minute drive. Inside the unit, downstairs is the kitchen offering concrete counters, under cabinet lighting, stainless appliances (gas range, full refrig, microwave, air fryer, & coffee pot), a dining area, and an attractive bathroom with a cast iron soaker tub. Upstairs is the spacious loft area with 4 different bed options (A queen, two twins, and a double mattress on the floor). The grounds include an orchard, gardens, a few chickens, and some walking paths. You can cycle around Landrum SC or on any of the country roads here. **The stairs to the loft are a sturdy ship-ladder style and all beds are upstairs(See photos).**

We had an amazing stay here! Jonathan was very welcoming and accommodating. The property and surrounding areas are beautiful. Everything inside was clean and functional, the fridge/cabinets were even stocked up! We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back! :)

Cozy converted garage was nicely finished. The space was adequite for our needs during a family visit in the area. Nice quiet area, was was great for a backyard fire in the evening. The kitchen was well equiped, and the host left a nice selection of snacks and breakfast foods. My wife and I enjoyed our stay, and would choose to stay again for future visits to the area.

Great apartment!

Stayed for a horse show at fence and the apartment was comfortable and welcoming. Convenient to Landrum. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice quiet getaway

The host was fantastic. He understood our need for quiet and privacy. We were there over the 4th of July weekend and our host warned us of the neighbors launching fireworks. We heard little or nothing as the cabin was so well insulated!

Delightful loft sanctuary. Clear and helpful host.

Peaceful and convenient location, lovely property (for humans *and* dogs), generously stocked 'frige for breakfast, great bathtub!, immaculate, and Jonathan is a most helpful host. Extremely Clean

The little bungalow was extremely clean and comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the description stated that breakfast would be available. There was oatmeal in the cabinets and plenty of coffee but there was only one egg and one piece of bread in the refrigerator (no milk or other items to really make a real breakfast).

The perfect secret hideaway

The moment you open the door, you will feel like you’ve escaped into a secluded oasis. This accommodation is not only a quaint bungalow with modern décor, but an accommodation with upgraded amenities. Jonathan is an incredible host. He is responsive, thoughtful providing several personal touches (i.e., welcome amenities and complimentary food & beverages), and flexible as we tried to check-in early and he was gracious enough to allow it. This was the perfect escape that my fiancé and I were looking for and my dog loved running around in the backyard. I highly recommend this accommodation and look forward to staying here again when I return to South Carolina.

Very accurate listing. Pristine condition.

Rarely do you see a property as spot on to the listing as this one. The photos are very accurate. It is in perfect condition and is great for a date night. Prompt communication. Easy check in. No brainer 5-stars. The stairs are more like a ladder so be careful. It is attached to the homeowner’s garage but still feels private. No WiFi but fast 5G Verizon coverage. There’s little seating space so expect to either sit at the kitchen table or in bed. Recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A quiet remote get-away

This lodging is a sweet little extension to back of the property owner's garage. Although it is small, the added outside private patio in the back helps to extend the space that is available. The steps to the loft bedroom are steeper than they look in the photos, so if you have any mobility issues or small children, this would not be an appropriate place to stay. We had to move a small cupboard over to to the stair opening so our small dog wouldn't fall down the stairs. The upstairs loft gives you more room, but there is only one dormer, so the angles of the ceiling make you have to duck frequently so you don't hit your head. The beds are comfortable though and it is definitely cozy! The place was very clean, well-stocked with food and even fresh eggs from the chickens on the property.

Cozy getaway in SC

My husband, dog, and I stayed over Christmas while visiting family in Landrum, SC. The property was an modern bungalow, nestled away from main part of town which made it a truly restful experience. Whether it's just a couple or a family of five, this place will be able to accommodate all! One of the key highlights was the kitchen. A gas range and fridge/cabinets stocked with an array of snacks and breakfast items is unheard of in a vrbo stay. However, Jonathan (host) has gone above and beyond to ensure that his guests are finding a home away from home. He was extremely responsive and overall an excellent host. We cannot wait to return next year for Thanksgiving!

5 Year Anniversary Stay

Jonathan was an excellent host. Easy to get in contact with and accommodating. The place was great stocked with breakfast food, including coffee, fresh eggs from his chickens and other options. Will definitely stay again next time in the area. Loved the unique design of this place. Hate we came in so late that we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor fireplace maybe next time. Highly recommend.

Relaxing getaway!

This little getaway is so comfortable and clean. I wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the outside patio and fireplace. The entire bungalow is immaculate and has everything you could think of. I have never had breakfast items provided for me at a VRBO, but this one had bagels and yogurt for us, along with coffee and creamer in the fridge! The beds were comfortable, and the claw foot tub was a fun surprise. We were only a short drive to the mountains too! I hope we get to return to this cozy bungalow one day!

Just what we were looking for

Loved the "extras" that were included in our stay. The refrigerator and cabinets were very well stocked with food and snacks! The accomodations was very clean. My daughter shows horses at Harmon field. We have to stable the horse the night before the actual horse show, so it's very convenient to be 15 min. away instead of 1.5 hours! We will be back next year during horse show season!

Campobello Bungalow

Wow!!! what a nice and nifty place to stay. We celebrated our anniversary this weekend with our two dogs. Most enjoyable and fully stocked with everything anyone might need. Enjoyed some wine with a fire in the chimeneia. Very very clean and comfortable. would love to come back. Jonathan was an amazing host and very responsive to our questions. Thank you Jonathan.
