Stinky sewage smell and poor communication
Our ordeal began at the day off arrival, the communication with the owner was poor from the get go, even right after we booked and before we arrived.
The owner didn't provide the proper address with the unit number and proper instructions to check in, nor was he present at the check in. For us coming to Dubai for the first time with our two little kids, a 13 hour flight from NY, no local cell phone number, jet lagged and in unfamiliar territory, it was a brutal experience at check in. No clear instructions of the address, then once we did we ran into security guards that automatically sent us to the sales office half a km away, only to find out the sales office was closed as it was a Saturday. So I'm going back and forth between the security, the sales office, trying to text the owner, all while my family is sitting in a van with multiple suitcases.
Serious sewage smell from the bathroom and the washing machine, unbearable and nauseating. Plus there were barely any toiletries, soap etc. The smell was throughout our 22 day plus stay.
This place DOES NOT sleep 4, it sleeps 2, there is no pullout couch, no comforters or blankets to sleep on the floor. The owner told me he ordered a new pullout couch which in fact never arrived, so..?
The location is excellent, food and shopping options are nearby.
5 stars for the location, 1 to 0 stars for everything else. If you're American, or have kids, I strongly suggest against staying here. The smell alone will make you sick.
