Rio Mantra-1 OR 2 Bedroom with a pool by the river

The perfect spot for enjoying nature while staying at a secluded, luxury space located on the Macal River. A short drive from San Ignacio. Immersed under the trees, enjoy the wildlife, pristine views, and a private path down to the river. The house is equipped with all the amenities for a comfortable stay, including a private infinity pool to cool off. Rented as 1 OR 2 bedrooms (additional cost).

Rio Mantra is a secluded, river front property located in a small residential area. it is a 5 min drive from downtown San Ignacio & market square. We have a few lovely neighbors around but none of them are in your sight so you have full privacy out by the pool :)
We have many unique visitors often hanging out around the house including Toucans, Gibnuts and even a permanent resident Kinkajou, living just by the pool.
Enjoy the hummingbirds feeding by our infinity pool after a long day of activities and a fully equipped, modern, comfortable house.
The house is offered as 1 bedroom OR 2 bedrooms. We open the second room when booking for more than 2 people or, in case of two guests , opening the second bedroom after adding the 3rd guest fee.

The entire house is yours :)

My Co-host is not living on the property but is available to assist with any issue.

We recommend renting a vehicle for staying in Rio Mantra but you can also more around with taxis (less available at night)
We are kids friendly but we do have a pool so watching the kids is under your responsibility .
Please do not smoke inside the house.

Secluded, private resort quality home

We loved the location and its proximity to town and places to visit. The home was modern, clean, spacious, and had so many hummingbirds to entertain us. Our host was helpful, super nice, and immediately responsive with any questions and needs. A few notes: the road down is a bit rough and should be initially down before dusk. We had no trouble after that. Connection to WiFi difficult.we will definitely stay there again! We stayed at a luxury resort after in San Pedro(unless you have smalwould recommend Rio Mantra (unless

Perfect place to stay

Rio Mantra was the perfect place for us stay. It offered quiet and seclusion, without being too far from town. The house, pool and hospitality were amazing. Hadas and Annabel made us feel welcome and the communication was perfect. We would definitely stay here again, if we come back to visit Belize.

Absolutely Amazing

We had an amazing start to our Belize family vacation. Hadas, the home, and the amenities far surpass the description in the photos. We wish we had stayed longer!!! Do rent a car Super easy to rent from the Belize airport. Very short drive to many supermarkets and fresh fruit and vegetable stands.

Rio mantra

Excellent property just as described. Comfortable, clean, well appointed and close to everything. We enjoyed a drive to and through several local communities. We stopped and ate at 3 of the places listed in the guidebook along with some that werent.we will likely stay again when visiting the area and have already shared the listing with family and friends. Thank you especially to Hadas for her direction and immediate response to questions.

Great San Ignacio Base

Rio Mantra more than met expectations of both couples staying here. Hadas is incredibly responsive without being intrusive, and we looked forward to returning “home” at the end of each day.

Fantastic Getaway!

We loved everything about Rio Mantra. It is a great place to land each night after exploring the wonders of San Ignacio and area. We even cooked in one night. We spent most of our time outside by the pool listening to the sounds of the jungle. A toucan came by several days and a family of parrots made a playful racket. It was great!

Fabulous stay at Rio Mantra

The house was lovely and clean and well managed. Better than the listing. The pool was clean and delightful. Hadas is an attentive manager but gave us privacy. We took a cooking class at the Eden Valley Mayan Kitchen, toured the Oxmul Coffee and the Green Hills Butterfly Ranch. We took a guided tour to the Caracol Mayan Ruins. A fabulous stay

All You Need in the Jungle

We could not have been happy with our stay at Rio Mantea! Yes, a few bugs and bees made their way in, but this place is really special! It has everything you need and more! We felt spoiled while there because everything you need is at you disposal. Now to Hadas, she was spectacular! Our luggage did not make it on our flight and that made us delayed for check-in. Hadas was understanding and offered for us to leave her local number with the airline to help get our bags to us. Twenty-eight hours later, Hadas was the one communicating with the delivery driver to make it happen! Could not have been more pleased with Rick Mantra and only wish we had planned for another night there!

Amazing stay and best host ever

The place was beautiful and so peaceful. Our host was so helpful and nice. She helped us get the most out of our trip and told us the best places to go. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic get away!

This place is absolutely stunning! Our host Hadas was great to work with - very friendly and approachable. The back yard is quiet, private, and serene - after a day of activities or even just bumming around town it was great to come back and just relax. Highly recommend, it's worth it!

Wonderful place to stay

My family and I (kids ages 4 & 6) loved staying here. The home and surrounding area is simply beautiful and we loved the pool. I would recommend having a rental car to be able to enjoy the area fully (we did and really appreciated having it). Lovely stay and would highly recommend.
