Nestled in the woods of Albrightsville within the gated community of Indian Mountain Lake, this two-bedroom home will bring cozy atmosphere, beautiful scenery, and wonderful shared amenities to your next Poconos getaway.

Indian Mountain Lake is a private community tucked into the scenic Pocono Mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania. Within the community, you'll have access to two outdoor pools, a kiddie pool, a dock and beach at Boulder Lake, four tennis courts, and two basketball courts.

After a day spent hiking, ATVing, or taking in an event at the Pocono Raceway, come home to a delightful wraparound deck shaded by a canopy of trees. Light the gas grill for an afternoon barbecue and gather around the firepit in the forest for s'mores and stories afterward.

The cabin's interior is classic and comfortable, offering natural log walls, large windows that frame the woods, and a woodstove (with logs provided) warming the living room and dining room. After wrapping up in the kitchen for the evening, you can play board games around the dining room table, gather in the living room for a movie or some Xbox 360 (games are provided), or head downstairs for Ping-Pong in the basement.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Mixed feelings…

Very confusing with Vrbo and vacasa sending multiple emails and txts about this stay. We booked through Vrbo. Got a txt asking if it was clean from vacasa right as we entered. It appeared clean but our feet would be black from walking without shoes on, on the main floor. Bottle caps were left around the fire pit and deck. Found a dirty crusted fork under a chair when we were doing our final walk through for packing. Seems like their cleaner is surface cleaning at best. The main reason for the booking was ping pong for the kids, we got there and they had two smashed orange balls laying on the floor. We had to stop at two different stores before finding a place that sold ping pong balls.We were given maybe 1/8th of a roll of paper towels, three trash bags, an almost empty container of laundry detergent for our stay. No coffee - which is always just assumed to be on site at rentals, but tons of molded sugar in canister. We made a game with the toilet called “will it flush”. It was very random when the toilet would flush - fix the toilet. Nothing worse than having a home with one bathroom and the toilet just not flushing. Your guest review booklet on site has a handful of reviews of the toilet not flushing dating back from 2022ish. No welcome packet or map of pools/tennis court. We called the HOA for information. I left a map at the house for future guests. Neighbors are VERY close and this wasn’t as secluded as I expected.

Beautiful property

Overall the property came exactly as expected. Easy to access. Had all basic amenities that could be needed. Overall cleanliness was good. The basement gaming amenities were a fantastic touch for entertainment.Would certainly look to return if we were ever back in the area.

Great house!

The name, Cosy Cabin, is accurate. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch watching the deer. Good amenities. Clean. The pinball machines are great! Kitchen has everything we needed to make a meal. Highly recommend this house.

Cute cabin

I have no real complaints other than I wish there was information about the community amenities (map, pool hours, etc.) and general info like where to get groceries. Other than that it was perfect for us. We even saw a bear in the yard (in addition to deer and a skunk).

This house is located in the forest, so it is truly quiet and the fresh air relaxes the mind and body. It is a small log cabin-style house with a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.

Rustic but cozy cabin

We loved the genuine log cabin construction and overall layout. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals including pots, pans, and utensils. The bathroom was functional and very clean, and so was the entire cabin with a few minor exceptions. It was also a joy getting to see so much wildlife- especially deer, right outside our windows!

Entry Code System Failure

The 10 number entry code did not unlock the front door. Calling Vacasa on a mobile phone outside the cabin on a cold night in late October in the Pocono Mountains is not what we envisioned when we signed the rental agreement. Also, watching the TV was just about impossible with all the unknown passwords required. At least when we called Vacasa to gain entry, the agent was most helpful.

Nice cozy cabin for a restful retreat. Wood stove is toasty, nice size deck and plenty of deer to enjoy. Even though there's neighbors, it's so quiet that you feel like you're alone in the mountains.

Great house for hanging out, nice community, close to lots of activities

Just back from a fantastic vacation with my husband, son and his girlfriend at the Cozy Cabin. The house was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Everything was exactly as advertised. The house is surrounded by trees so you feel like you are in a tree house. Lots of deer and fawns seen including in our yard. Fire pit is awesome. They even had a fire already laid out for us. That was a really nice surprise and nice extra touch, along with the S'mores ingredients they left. Beds are comfortable, plenty of space for four people to comfortably relax when we were home. Basement with Ping Pong table was nice for our teenagers when they wanted to hang out away from the parents. The house is a 15 to 20 minute ride from many activities (which is a short ride for the mountains!). In the development we enjoyed the pools. We didn't bring fishing gear but fishing opportunities were plentiful. The people in the area were friendly. Neighbors were quiet at night after quiet hours (10 pm) and in mornings as you'd want when on vacation. One suggestion for future guests is be sure to get a map of the development when you check in and if your car doesn't have a built in compass, bring one along. Our GPS didn't work once we got into the neighborhoods and it took us a couple of days to learn our way around. There are 60 miles of road in the development so you want to know where you're going! Even that wasn't a negative because we enjoyed charting our course old school and we saw so many deer and fawns while driving around we didn't mind.

Be sure to look around, closets, cupboards, etc. to acclimate yourself as to what is available. Living space smaller than anticipated.

Nice getaway cabin

Very nice, quaint clean cabin. Lakes were nice, surrounding amenities were good, a little noisy at times but all in all we enjoyed our stay

Beautiful cottage in wooden neighborhood

This was a beautiful property. It was just perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed bike riding in the quiet neighborhood and watching deer and turkey. We were a short drive from Hickory Run State Park and Jim Thorpe. We wish we would have stayed an extra night. There are a lot of relaxing activities to do. We enjoyed evenings of grilling and relaxing at the cottage. We would definitely recommend this place!

Nice & Quiet

Everything about our stay was pleasant except that the plumbing was less than ideal. Vacay shouldn’t include stress over the potty. Otherwise, would stay again for sure.

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at the cozy cabin. So many things to do in the area. The wood burner was perfect for the chilly rainy afternoon. Cabin has everything you need. We will definitely come back.

Cozy Log Cabin

We had a nice relaxing few days in the cabin. This log cabin is cute and cozy like the description says. The kitchen was nicely stocked with all the cooking essentials, all we needed was to bring the food. There was a nice welcoming treat on the table when we arrived, a bowl with smores fixins. House is in a quiet neighborhood, neighbors are sort of close but you still felt like you were in the woods. We saw deer in the yard everyday and even a bear one afternoon. The bed was comfortable and the place was in great condition. It could use a window treatment on the large living room window, we felt a little too exposed. Otherwise we were very happy with the house and would highly recommend this log cabin!

The Cozy Cabin is Perfect !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cabin. The entire process from booking to departure was seamless as was the owner’s kindness and cooperation when we requested to extend our stay. In addition to a great location, fully stocked and prepared wood for the wonderful wood burning stove, the owners even left a basket of ingredients for S’mores! Needless to say, my kids were huge fans! We highly recommend staying at perfectly located, wonderfully managed and well maintained cozy cabin.

Nice log cabin stay

We enjoyed our weekend at the cabin. The log home was very clean, with fresh towels and toiletries in each bedroom. The house has a nice wood burning stove with plenty of firewood. It's close to Jack Frost/Big Boulder ski resorts and there is a hiking path nearby to Hawk Falls. The house isn't huge, but it was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook (including a little treat for guests). The floors were a bit chilly, so I'd bring slippers and throw blankets. Overall, we enjoyed our snowy weekend in the woods!
