Sterling Shores is under renovation for a beautification project in which they are working on all balconies and walkways to the condos. Due to this beautification process, one pool closest to the building may close in November very briefly. No other amenities will be affected. Renovations are currently in progress Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The renovation is set to be finished by 1/29/2026. If bad weather interferes with the beautification process, renovations could continue into February. If there are any updates, I will let you know. We have blocked down the units that are primarily affected by this construction. June-Labor Day is painting the exterior and should not cause much of a disturbance. After Labor Day, you may experience floor grinding noise and dust. We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you and we hope you enjoy your stay!

Wake up each morning and bring a fresh cup of coffee out to the balcony as you plan a full day of fun and look out to the emerald waters of the gulf. When you are ready to soak up some sunshine, head down to the shared pool for a quick dip or walk to the beach where you can easily get your fill of sandy toes. Plus, the hustle and bustle of downtown Destin is mere minutes from the complex when you want to check out the local restaurants, shops, and amusement parks that make this area so special.

Inside, the fun can continue with sweet relaxation as blue skies turn to pinks and oranges come sunset. The chef of the group will feel right at home whipping up tasty meals and snacks in the full kitchen, as they will love using the major appliances and cookware provided. The rest of the gang can hang out at the breakfast bar or kick back on the sectional as a movie plays on the TV. Don't worry about packing your entire wardrobe on this getaway either because the private washer and dryer are ready to keep swimsuits and towels clean during your stay.

THINGS TO KNOW
Construction is 8-5, 7 days a week. Beginning Monday, October 20, 2025, the Lagoon Pool will be closed for approximately 3 weeks to have it resurfaced. We are hopeful to have it back up and running by November 10, 2025.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 6.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
