Enjoy The View in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, where gorgeous sunsets set the backdrop for a fantastic stay. Get comfortable by the large stone fireplace in the living room as you sip cocoa and chat with family and friends, with your pups curled up at your feet. After a day hiking in a national forest, riding the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, or exploring local wineries and farms, come back to take in the views through the floor-to-ceiling windows here.

This pet-friendly, 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin can sleep up to 8 guests and has a fully equipped kitchen, a big screen TV, and the comforts of home. When you want some fresh air, step onto the screened-in deck to toss burgers on the grill or relax. In the yard, gather around the firepit for late-night chats as the sun goes down over the mountains. At the end of the day, climb into the hot tub for a soothing soak! And with a secluded location, you'll be tucked away from it all!

The property was clean and cozy. Stunning view but not enough comfortable seating for sitting on the deck. House needs some exterior love. Would have given higher rating but the road to the house is in terrible condition.

Property has beautiful views. Cabin is clean. Easy to find. Roads are rough. Floors are very squeaky, so it’s impossible to be quiet if you’re the first one up. Had a few issues with the downstairs toilet. Overall it was a great family vacation. Would stay there again.

Wonderful Getaway

Extremely pleased with our stay at “The View”! Travelled with a group ranging from 1½ years old to mid-80s and we all have a wonderful experience. Response to issues through the app was prompt and helpful, check in and out was easy, and the house and location were absolutely perfect. 10/10 would stay here again!

Great location and aptly named!

This cabin has a great location that gives you the”remote” vibe but is super close to shops, groceries and restaurants. We had a lovely Christmas here with our 2.5 yo granddaughter. The view is lovely and we all slept well, given the sleep habits of a 2.5 yo!

Couples getaway

This is our second time staying at the property. Overall it’s great but the fridge and freezer don’t work and the floors especially upstairs are extremely loud with every step.

Loved It

We very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin was great and the view was amazing. Well furnished and everything you need to enjoy your time. Added to our enjoyment was a bear walking on the road our first night coming up the mountain.

Very secluded and quiet

Place was great. End of the road so it was secluded and quiet. Loved the game room and the view. Road was easy access (95% paved). Location was great too - not too far from downtown Blueridge. Awesome place.

Amazing Getaway

The View was perfect for our family vacation. The beds were comfortable, the view was amazing, the hot tub was hot, and the kids had a blast in the downstairs game room. The drive is a bit steep but the car handled it fine in low. We would definitely recommend this property.

Overall, the trip was exactly what we needed: a time to relax and be refreshed. Communication with the host was excellent and timely. The location was excellent and felt very private. The house was literally the last one on the street. Be aware! Low profile cars will struggle to access it though but our sedan did not have any problems. The cabin was clean but it was dated and needs some TLC which is why I am not giving this a higher rating in my review. Also, the hot tub needs some intensive maintenance -- the cover had a large build-up of mildew on it, the water had a musty/moldy smell to it, and when we tried to use the blower setting, it gave off a strong and unpleasant sulfurous odor.The view truly was stunning and we had amazing sunrises each day. One other minor deterrent, there was more road noise than I expected but it wasn't unbearable.

Too short of stay

Friends gathering for annual get together. Diner table was our gathering point. Played games and laughed. Large windows we were able to see the clouds rolling by and the storms. Looking forward to our next stay

The View was a beautiful property and home! Fairly easy to get to and a great location and access to mountain bike and local Vineyards. If we could change it request anything we would need better and more towels, upgraded pillows and a better stocked kitchen … we were a group of 4 adults.

Friends Vacation

The property was perfectly clean and much larger than it appears online. The price is very low for the amount of space you receive. My group of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay with an amazing view and secluded home.

We got there after dark and the gps wasn’t giving us exact location. It took us half an hour to find it, although we were in the neighborhood. This was not fault of anyone. After we found it, all went well. I didn’t use the upstairs shower because there was no hot water. My husband later found that the hot and cold is reversed. No big deal.

Amazing Cabin with a few improvements needed.

Amazing cabin. Clean and spacious with an amzing game room. The upstairs bedroom is cool. Need to clear the trees to enhance the view. The road into the property needs some work. There is a serious washout to cross. The hot tub was luke warm when we arrived and not up to temp for 24 hours.

The View!!!

Property was in a wonderful location. Access to Blue Ridge and Mc Cayesville was great. Only minor issue with the rental was that the utensils and silverware need to be updated so that there are plent of forks and serving ware.also another pan would be great. We truly enjoyed our stay even on the rainy day as there were fun games in the game room. Thank you

Great get away

House was as described in the listing. The “View” was not. There were a lot of trees that have grown too tall to actually see the view. Otherwise the house was great. Do not rely on GPS to take you to this property or you will drive off the mountain. I do recommend following the directions that are given in the email.

Nice cabin.

My overall rating and cleanliness of the property would have been 5 stars except for the following. The cabin is described as having sweeping Mountain View's. The view is blocked by trees. The cabin was clean except for the table being sticky. There were a couple light bulbs that needed to be replaced and the kitchen faucet was loose. I did like the cabin and would recommend it. It is at the end of the road; therefore, you don't have traffic back and forth by the property.

Relaxing Getaway

The property is absolutely beautiful! Dishes were clean, appliances were new, and there were enough towels for all of us. The game room was so much fun, and an awesome touch to the house. There was a little confusion with the instruction book on the coffee table versus what was sent to our email as far as departure instructions. I think the book should be updated. May want to bring flip flops for the balcony, the nails are coming up in some areas so I wouldn’t advise walking barefoot. The patio that the hot tub was on could use some scrubbing too, there was moss and is very slippery. We enjoyed our time together as a family.

Great place for a get away.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at The View in October. The trees have definitely grown so you can’t see the mountains as well, but we found the place very clean, with comfy beds, and plenty of space. It was nice to have a bedroom and bathroom on all 3 levels. Communication with the property mgr before check-in was great. The video directions came in handy as well. Our one and only challenge was driving up and down the mountain during the fall with tons of leaves on the steep road. Thankful to have sport mode on our SUV. Also I do not recommend arriving there the first time after dark, we ended up getting out of the car to make sure we were turning onto the steep driveway (and not off the road) b/c it was so dark. Reflectors or some sort of motion lights would definitely help.

Very clean cabin!

Host was very responsive and super helpful. Cabin was spotless. Felt very homey. Lots of antique decor. Due to tree growth the view is no longer quite the panorama advertised. But still beautiful!! Three nice bedrooms, one on each floor ensures extra privacy. Pool table is very nice. Pool table showing some wear. This cabin is overall showing some age but they’ve done an excellent job at keeping it clean inside. No place for kids to run around if you have little ones. It’s sitting on top of a mountain. Steep ride to the top. 4 wheel drive not necessary though.
