Country cottage , great for a busy city life get away.very quaint , quiet , Warm , covered deck , outside fire pit and inside wood stove , TV's and satellite in each bedroom and the living room , WiFi , 5 acres to roam , 10 mins to Stony Plain. We do have door bell cameras.

We had a wonderful time on our anniversary getaway. We were welcomed by a bottle of champagne in the fridge, and Bruce and Darby were easily and quickly reachable when we had questions. The bed was comfy, the deck was amazing and we were invited to help ourselves to the veggies in the garden. Would definitely stay here again.

Thank- you Bruce and Darby! What a little piece of paradise you guys have. From the area to the porch, to the interior, this house is AMAZING! My guests still cant stop raving about how well everything worked out for us for our trip to AB. I highly recommend this VRBO for any families or get togethers.

Had a super fun weekend. Wish we would have had more direction on what you would have liked us to do with our bed sheets.Also, please take the delayed feature off the dishwasher. Saturday night l happened to get it started, last night and all morning, nor so lucky.I felt horrible about leaving soiled dishes in the dishwasher.Thank you

Beautiful and Quiet Getaway

Secluded and serene getaway close to the city

The hosts were great! The house was beautifully decorated with attention to the details you want. Cozy inside and out. The hot tub was a nice feature. Would love to stay again.

Cozy Hideaway

Was in need of a midweek vacation, and this place checked all the boxes. Hosts are easy to communicate with, place was immaculately clean, and the hot tub was the perfect spot to soak up some quiet time. Beautiful yard in a quiet little neighborhood. Would recommend.

Cozy Cabin

This place was amazing so unique inside and to be among Alberta farm lands in a cosy well groomed property was a bonus. Can’t say enough. It was relaxing and hot tub was also a special extra. Will stay here from now on. We really did not want to leave.

I could write a novel on how this property is everything that I needed. Clean, private, fully stock with everything you need. From the art & books flowing everywhere through the property to the little details of fresh flowers left for our arrival. Amazing wood stove, bonfire, private deck with hot tub. One of the best bed I have slept in and what an amazing kitchen if you are a foodie :)

Amazingly Inviting Cozy Cabin in the woods

Such spectacular scenery and beautifully high vibes just imitating through every acre of this property. If ypu are looking to get back in touch with the very source of life itself, then this cabin is definitely your go to. The decor is so wordly and the hosts are just as incredible as wonderful. Great excape from the everyday city life, yet close enough to the city's amenities

Lovely cabin with beautiful decor, that gives a feeling of comfort. A very spacious yard with a fireplace that makes it easy to spend the days outdoors or sitting to enjoy your morning coffee. It also has a secluded feelingto it making it the perfect weekend escape for a family, a couple or just yourself. Thank you for the perfect place to soend my weekend. Can hardly wait to come back.

Amazing property

This property was awesome, from the easy correspondence, easy checkin and beautiful property I have nothing but great things to say. The home is spotless, bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything and more than you could need. The property is secluded and quite, well taken care of and lots of space. If I had to rate it out of 10 I would give it 100!! We will definitely be back soon!

We were blown away by how incredible this property was. As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted by soft lighting, jazz, and a gentle citrus scent. The décor was beautifully done, and everything there was high end. Everything we might have needed was there, from roasting sticks for the fire pit, an abundance of fluffy towels, and even olive oil and balsamic vinegar to round out the cookware in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable, the shower always had hot water, and there was even mosquito repellent, shampoo, and conditioner. This was such a perfect getaway for our family, and we loved having access to the hot tub, firepit, and even board games. THANK YOU Darby and Bruce for providing such luxurious accommodations!

Complete Relaxation.

I booked this little cabin as a last minute anniversary stay, and was not disapointed. Communication with Darby was great right from the start making check in simple and easy. It was clear when we arrived that they really want their guests to have the best experience possible. Everything we needed was supplied, and clean and easy to find. The high end finishings in this cabin made it feel so luxurious. We took advantage of the games and music they had ready for us to use. We enjoyed lots of time out on the covered deck, it is set up perfectly for late nights playing cards or just talking. The hot tub of course is the perfect finishing touch to a very needed, relaxing anniversary holiday. I will definitely book this stay again, and would recommend to anyone looking for a secluded, quiet, but close to amenities vacation!

Wasnt what it portrayed to be

It was great until we realized that we where being illegally recorded withput prior knowledge or our consent. As a family with a 9 year old we found this quite alarming. We even considered leaving after having paid for the next 2 nights. If you are planning on showering maybe take a very long one before leaving home because the water smells like dead animal carcass, and overly slimey. There is a doorbell cam and recording abilities with this doorcam onboth the front and back doors that you also dont get a pre disclosure of knowing either. The google home speaker is steady recording all conversions and there are multiple hidden wifi networks and devices present in the home. If you happen to leave a dish or 2 in the sink please be prepared to get endless and volitle calls from the hosts with colorful language even i havent heard in my 40 years of life and im a welder. Finally be warned dont use a single entertainment device or you'll be blamed for unplugging anything in order to charge your phone unfortunatly the host has zero idea how to plug her belongings back in. In conclusion this started out wonderful but quickly became a personal nightmare for everyone of my family members and very difficult postion for myself and my husband to stay composed after discovering that we had zero privacy especially considering the cost we paid for this trip and bottomline just straight illegal for these hosts to even attempt such a horrific crime and invasion of pur human rights.
