Welcome to your ideal mountain retreat in the charming Timberland neighborhood! This spacious home features a fantastic floor plan designed for gatherings, making it perfect for family and friends to enjoy everything Tahoe has to offer. Just a short walk from the public beach at Hurricane Bay and minutes from popular California ski resorts, you'll find the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure.

The entire home has been meticulously designed to maximize relaxation with all the modern amenities of a mountain cabin. Featuring a grand fireplace, a chef's kitchen, and beautifully appointed furnishings throughout. The dining table comfortably seats eight, ideal for memorable family meals after a day of exploring. With three supermarkets within five miles, stocking up on supplies is a breeze—you might never want to leave!

With five generously sized bedrooms, there's ample space for two families to unwind after a day of outdoor fun. The backyard provides a serene escape for enjoying the fresh mountain air, and in winter, it transforms into a snowy playground for kids and adults alike.

Location:
You can access the bike trail and ride to Tahoma or to Tahoe City. You are also just minutes to spectacular views from the top of Eagle Rock, a very short and easy hike for most. A short drive to Sunnyside Restaurant, Firesign Cafe and bike rental shops.

Parking:
Parking is available for 4 cars total. All cars must park on the driveway or in the garage. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Pets are not allowed at this home.
* Maximum Nighttime Occupancy: 12 adults
* Occupancy: Never to exceed 12 adults in larger homes.
* Use of the BBQ and outdoor furniture is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property ,may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.

**All guests must electronically sign a Rental Agreement within 48 hours of booking the reservation. Access to the property will be denied without a signed rental agreement **

Great family home

Plenty of room and bedrooms for a large family get together. The kitchen is great with that huge island. Good location and we loved the bocce ball in the yard.

Wonderful family reunion

This home had everything we needed! With 4 grandkids 5-14, there was so much for them to do. The sleeping arrangements were perfect! The kitchen was outstanding. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home that exceeds expectations!

This is a terrific rental home on the west side of Tahoe. It's an easy drive to Tahoe City and Truckee, while also feeling removed from any sort of bustle. The house is massive and more beautiful than the photos suggest. We loved the comfortable beds, great TV, enormous and well-appointed kitchen, and ample outdoor space. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Suburb home for short or longer visit to Tahoe!

My family (wife, 1.5 year old and nanny) spent a wonderful two weeks in this home. The layout was perfect to keep bedrooms nicely separated from the main living spaces (ideal for a 1.5 year old who goes to bed early and gets up even earlier!). The kitchen was a highlight for us - spacious, modern, with high-end appliances perfect for cooking family meals.There was a small office upstairs with 2x monitors, keyboard and mouse which was a wonderful surprise as we were working (a bit while not skiing) while we visited.We have added this home to our list of favorites we have visited and will certainly be planning a trip back!

Great Gathering Spot for Families

This home is beautiful. High ceilings and well decorated with plenty of room for our family of 11. Nice dining space and kitchen island for meals and gathering and a great room to spread out for movies or reading by the fire. It was equipped with just about everything we needed - as we cooked almost every meal. Our only complaint was that it was more cluttered then expected. The kitchen drawers had food crumbs and stained dishes piled on top of each other (which from the looks of it had been tossed around by previous guests). Games and puzzles had just been tossed into the console behind the couch. Some of the closets in the bedrooms were filled with extra sheets and blankets, and there were only a handful of wire hangers in the whole house – leaving us little room to store our clothes or hang winter coats. Luckily there was an area in the garage for our ski equipment so we managed and took advantage of the boot warmers! Our family enjoyed the house and we all loved the location being 5 min from Tahoe City and 15 minutes from Palisades. I just think someone needs to go in and give the house a deep clean and a thorough inspection!

Reviewer Comments: The house was spacious, 5 bedrooms for 10 of us and the layout was such that there was ample open area to spend time with everyone (kitchen, two living room spaces) as well as private areas to take a break or work from the house. The location is great, minutes from Homewood ski resort and Tahoe city, also close to the lake. The yard is large and our children enjoyed sitting outside and playing in the snow. I would recommend any large party looking for a family-friendly rental to book this place.
