Blue Chill in Barefoot Cottages is a cozy, colorful cottage centrally located between the beach towns of Port St. Joe and Mexico Beach. A short car ride away and you'll be at the quiet beaches and waters of WindMark Beach (1 mile away on St. Joseph Bay) or the white sand and surf of the Gulf of America in Mexico Beach (approx a 7-10 minute drive). A scenic car ride to the gorgeous clear waters and pristine beaches of Cape San Blas will never disappoint (approx 20 minutes). Feel like relaxing at the pool? The smaller pool is just steps off the front porch across the driveway, or if you prefer to lounge at the larger pools and hot tub they are a short walk or ride away. If you choose to cook and dine in, there's a fully equipped kitchen and the community grills are right out the door. Everything you'll need for meal prep and clean-up in addition to an open concept floor plan makes for easy entertaining. Prefer to go out for the evening? A 3-minute car ride will take you into charming Port St. Joe where you'll find many delicious locally-owned restaurants with friendly staff ready to serve you. For the shopping enthusiasts, Port St. Joe offers lovely boutiques in the quaint downtown area, or take an approx 30-minute drive to historic Apalachicola to enjoy a full day of browsing and dining. Whatever your passion, Port St. Joe and the surrounding communities of the Forgotten Coast have the low-key tranquility of old Florida small towns or an activity for you, from shelling, fishing, biking, hiking, boating, kayaking, and sunset-gazing.
Other shopping options: Piggly Wiggly and Dollar General Market are both about 3 minutes away. If you want touristy attractions, chain restaurants, and name brand stores, take a drive to Panama City Beach for the day. You can be there in about an hour, have fun, and then be so glad you chose to stay in laid-back Port St. Joe and Barefoot Cottages.

Keyless entry with your own secure code is great for young and old, no keys to keep track of.
You will love the 2 come-sit-a-spell porches (one with a swing and one with a bed and coffee bar) where you can enjoy your morning coffee, sweet tea in the afternoon, and cold drinks in the evening.
Each bedroom has its own private full bathroom. Hair dryer in each full bath.
The 1st floor King master has a walk-in shower. This works great for those who don't do stairs easily (there are 4 steps to get into the house).
There is a half bath off the living area with full-size washer and dryer.
The dining table seats 6 and the large breakfast bar seats 3.
The home is family and snowbird friendly and a great location to experience that tranquil and memorable vacation you've been dreaming of.
Two parking spots are guaranteed and right off the porch.
If you are under 25 and your parents won't be staying with you, please don't even ask to book. We are looking for guests who will take care of the home as their own.

Up to 2 dogs are allowed (a pet fee will be charged), house-broken only, no puppies.
Boats and trailers are no longer allowed in Barefoot Cottages.
No smoking allowed.
