Newly renovated, three-bedroom retreat nestled in the heart of South Baton Rouge!

Only 4 miles from LSU and Tiger Stadium and 2 miles from the Mall of Louisiana, we are surrounded by several restaurants, bars, and other fun activities for you to enjoy while you're here.

We are minutes away from the Health District - several hospitals and medical clinics including Baton Rouge General, Our Lady of the Lake, Children’s Hospital, The Baton Rouge Clinic and many more.

Our home features a master suite with a king-sized bed and in-suite bathroom with luxury shower, two additional bedrooms with queen-sized beds and a shared bathroom, a fully stocked open-concept kitchen, living, and dining area, and a partially fenced in outdoor oasis including a screened porch, hammock and gravel garden for socializing outdoors.

Fantastic stay for an LSU gameday. We stayed during the SEC home opener, and found that it was extremely easy to get to and from the stadium from the home. The cottage was very cute, everyone loved it. We will be looking to rent this lovely home again!

Pleasantly perfect

Our family was in town for one week while our children participated in athletic summer camps at LSU. It was a wonderful upgrade from our hotel the previous year... our athletes each had their own room to decompress after a long day of practice/ training. The dining and living rooms offered a cozy place for us to be together for breakfast in the morning, games in the evening, and reading/ movies before bed. It's so close to restaurants, grocery stores, shopping and entertainment, but it's placement and landscaping help you to feel like you're getting away from all of that. It couldn't have been more perfect for our family!

So lovely

This place is so lovely! So much character and beautiful updates, but with a homey charm. Perfect touches everywhere and amazing comfy spot to drink coffee and watch nature in the morning.

Weekend Trip

We enjoyed our weekend stay. The house is nicely decorated and comfortable. Host was easy to work with and check in/ check out went smoothly. House is older but everything was in good working condition.

Cozy home away from home

Don’t let the outside fool you! This beautiful and cozy home is in a perfect location for anyone visiting Baton Rouge especially LSU families. The home was so cute and clean. The neighborhood was clean and safe. All types restaurants and shopping were close by. We could not have picked a better place! Even our elderly dog was happy! Thank you Debra for sharing your home!!

Very good time at Baton-Rouge

Very clean and quiet house. The outside pergola protected by a large mosquito net is a plus. The garden might be attractive when the weather gets cooler. Very close to LSU campus and other facilities.

Short Trip

We were in town for the High School Powerlifting National competition to see our boys compete. The location was perfect and was only about 10 minutes from the venue as well as very close to many of the local restaurants etc. The property was perfect and we had everything we needed. It was easy to get in and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe. We went for several walks to enjoy the weather (we are from Wisconsin- so it felt like summer 😂) would definitely recommend if you are in the area- way better than a hotel. It was perfect to retreat back to our place at the end of a chaotic day. 5 stars

LSU v Auburn Trip to BR

Hello! Our trip was disrupted by cancellations by the other couples that were going to stay at the house with us. However, my wife and I enjoyed the accommodations thoroughly! The neighborhood is quiet and near all the major hotspots! We would definitely like to stay there on Kimbro St. again in the future! Love it!!!

Great Stay

This is an older home that was updated. I loved it! It was the perfect location. The neighborhood felt safe and was very quiet. The house is clean and the kitchen is well stocked. Also had great and immediate communication with the owner.

Just as pictured

Very clean and super cute inside. Communication was great when any problems or questions occurred. This is an old house so water pressure is a bit tricky so you can’t shower at the same time in both bathrooms but other than that it was great. I would definitely stay again. Great location.

Wedding Weekend

Spotless, extremely comfortable and well equipped beautifully decorated, lots of birds and wildlife, close to everything. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a jewel of a VRBO. Made our busy weekend perfect with a quiet, comfortable place to Just recharge between events.
