Quiet country setting. Black out curtains for a great sleeping experience. Close to ski hill, hiking, biking, snowmobile and horse trails. Many wonderful lakes close by. In the heart of the Kettle Moraine! Lots of restaurants and fast-food places close by. Slinger Race track 20 minutes away. 40 minutes to Road America in Elkhart Lake.40 minutes from Beaver Dam Race track. Beautiful Art Museum, Antique shops, Library, YMCA all close by. Centrally located. Not far from EAA, Green Bay or Milwaukee. Great restaurants. Washington County Fair Grounds are about 20 minutes away. Come and enjoy the comfort of home while vacationing in the scenic Kettle Moraine.

Fantastic place for us to stay a couple nights while visiting family for a wedding close by. Such a cute, quiet place with a BEAUTIFUL view. My kids are already asking if we can go back!

Beautiful Wisconsin Countryside

5 members of our family stayed here and it was perfect. Very beautiful grounds. We enjoyed a family cook out, played croquet, and just absorbed the peacefulness of the countryside. Nancy and her husband were outstanding hostess'. Very personable! I would highly recommend this property.

Relaxing getaway

We were in West Bend to attend a tractor show and this was the perfect place out of town to relax in the evenings after the show. Nice kitchen to cook breakfast in. Beds were really comfortable. Excellent view from the back porch. Would stay here again.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful time at Nancy's property. It is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. Nancy and her husband are so kind. We enjoyed the fire pit and views. The apartment is very clean and has everything you could need. We'd definitely stay again!

Nice property & stay

The positives are the property and space. Check-in and communication from owner was excellent. The place was clean and accommodations adequate. It was actually perfect for our needs. The negatives are no stove and oven and the sink had no pressure and hard to turn on and off. Being below the owners, we did hear the owners dog from time to time and their TV late into the evening. The positives far outweigh the negatives. I awarded it 5 Stars.

Wonderful respite for family

I cannot begin to share how wonderful this oasis was for my family while my mother was in hospice. The location was perfect and met all of our needs. The owner was fantastic to work with. I will definitely be using this wonderful place again.

Just perfect

The home radiates peace. The landscaping in the back yard and over looking the hills so very beautiful. We arrived on a stormy very windy day, so instead of hiking, we got cozy and watched movies while the wind howled. The picture windows were pretty to see everything. It was such an organized and very clean home. And such a sweet touch to have wine and muffins for us, we enjoyed them :) there was lots of tourist info as well which was nice. The whole area around the home is lovely, it’s rural but also 5 min from a piggly wiggly. We loved our stay

Midwest charm

Owner was responsive to minor lighting issues with an apparent breaker .No cable TV ....but there was internet TV ...enjoyed board games in the evening .Owner left muffins and wine at check in which was very kind .Overall a very relaxing 2 days .

Convenient location for weekend stay

Needed a place to stay for an event in West Bend and this wasn't far out of town and offered a place for us to make a few of our own meals and relax during the down time. Beautiful views and quick drive into town, would stay here again. No oven, but there is a cooktop, microwave and toaster oven, so was able to prepare some basic meals.

Gorgeous, peaceful stay.

We are so glad we found this place. The owners are so nice. We felt extremely safe and relaxed here. The pond and fish were a great bonus! Very clean, very comfy! In the peaceful, beautiful setting of the country, yet very close to all sorts of things to do and eateries. Thank you again to the wonderful owners!

Weekend walk in the woods.

We had a great time. The place was perfect for us (Mom, and her 2 adult daughters.) Labor day weekend getaway. The place was clean, and attractive. The little pond had fish and frogs. We arrived early, just to make sure we knew where we were going. We were able to check in early. We were pleasantly surprised to walk in, and see a bottle of wine, and package of muffins awaiting us. Place was well stocked with everything needed.

If you enjoy quiet and nature this is the place for you. Nestled in the Kettle Hill area are some pretty large hills. This house is located on one of those hills overlooking beautiful farmland & woods. The sunrises are so breath taking you'll need to have your camera ready! There are multiple stairs to access the lower level and private entry way, so this may not be a good choice if stairs are an issue for you. There is a long, steep driveway from the road to the house, but rest assured, there is plenty of parking at the top of the hill for your stay. For the snowmobiler enthusiast we are located just off of a snowmobile trail.

If an issue occurs, we are just steps away for a quick response without infringing on your privacy.

We are so centrally located it is hard to believe that we are also so isolated! You can enjoy almost anything with only a short drive. Yet peace & quiet & nature is just a step out the door! There are a couple of swings outside that you can relax in and take in the beauty around you.
We have a ring camera and flood light by the entry door.
