This property is on a gated private ranch. It was so peaceful and the scenery beautiful. Morning coffee on the couch watching the sunrise was my favorite. The barn loft was cozy and spacious and perfect accommodations for a restful getaway to celebrate our anniversary. It was a joy also to bring out Jack Russell, she enjoyed exploring. Our host Claire made the booking and communication process a breeze. We will definitely be back!

Outstanding

The barn loft is absolutely wonderful. It is peaceful and quiet yet conveniently located to the lake, mountains, and many good restaurants. The hostess, Claire, is equally wonderful. From the moment of our reservation until our trip ended, she provided great communication and everything we needed for our stay. We definitely hope to stay there again.

Beautiful property, luxurious accommodations

Beautiful, clean property with luxurious decor. Amazing views from the window lined loft. Host was very responsive and accommodating.The property is on the 2nd story and the steps were a little steep, but we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you & God bless!!

A Home Away from Home

This was our second year in a row staying at The Barn, and it did not disappoint. We like the peacefulness, the space, the mix of a barn with modern furnishings, and the proximity to the lake. It is a gem not too far from our real home, but far enough to feel like a vacation. We were quite glad we came again.

Weekend getaway

We needed a quick getaway and were in town for a concert at Sand Mountain Amphitheater. We took a couple of extra days to explore Lake Guntersville SP and Bucks Pocket SP. We loved the privacy of the site. The barn was so cozy and great view across the valley. Highly recommend the Red Barn.

Fantastic stay!!

We had such a peaceful, relaxing getaway! Claire was an amazing host! She was so kind and took extra measures to ensure that our stay was a great one. The barn loft was immaculately clean and had everything that we needed during our stay. Thank you again, Claire, for sharing your little piece of heaven with us! Upscale Loft in a Picturesque, Serene Location

My husband and I really enjoyed our weekend at the Red Barn. We've stayed in many vacation rentals in northeast Alabama, north Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee and the Red Barn was definitely one of the most unique, and has been added to our list of favorites! Don't let the word "barn" deter you. The spacious loft was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated with quality materials and furniture. You can tell someone made an effort to create a cozy, homey atmosphere (not just thrown together for a vacation rental). We spent a lot of our time lounging on the big, comfy sofa staring out the massive floor-to-ceiling window at the absolutely lovely valley and mountain view and all of the birds flying by (this is *the place* for birdwatchers!). The fully stocked kitchen was a joy to cook in. The barn is on a massive gated property, you really feel like you're out in the middle of nowhere, but it was only a 10 minute drive to Publix, 15 minutes to downtown Guntersville! It is an incredibly peaceful, pastoral location. We enjoyed strolling around the property at sunset. I also appreciated the interesting selection of books in the loft! Although we ran out of time and didn't get to use it, there is a firepit outside, and an unobstructed, big-sky view -- a great place for stargazing!The property and barn loft were beyond our expectations for beauty and comfort, and for an extremely reasonable price! We will certainly be back someday!

Anniversary Getaway

Pictures do this property no justice. Had a wonderful peaceful stay. Decided to arrive a day early and we were welcomed right in. Probably the coolest barn stay I think I’ll ever experience. Priceless views.

Great Vacation

We had a great vacation at this property. It was very quiet and peaceful. We were able to bring our dogs and had plenty of room to walk them. We didnt have any problems, most of the lower part of the barn is closed off. I am assuing for events, we felt like we needed a way to lock it from our area.

Christmas at The Barn

My husband and I stayed at The Barn the week of Christmas while visiting family in the area and were absolutely blown away by this property. So much care and detail were put into this place making it the perfect home away from home for us and our dogs, and the Christmas decorations made it that much more inviting. We spent hours watching wildlife out of the big window and truly did not want to leave at the end of our stay. We can’t wait to come back next time we visit Guntersville!

Great Weekend Getaway

My wife and I enjoyed our weekend at the barn loft. Property was behind a private gate. Beautiful view from the living room. Loved the Christmas decor too. Very charming and unique.

Simply Spectacular

We can’t say enough good things about this place. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s beyond spacious with the most magnificent floor-to-ceiling window to soak in the sunrise and landscape. The large and comfy L-shaped sofa was just the place to relax. We loved walking around the grounds and hearing all the birds. Full size kitchen with fridge was an amazing bonus. It was just the respite we needed for us and our dog who couldn’t have been happier running around both inside and outside. We really didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay. The large shower, the bathrobes, the attention to detail, really made this feel like a luxury stay. We would absolutely stay here again next time. Can’t say enough how much we loved the barn guesthouse — this is a real gem!

Perfection

The barn loft is absolute perfection. It’s farmhouse luxury yet comfortable, inviting and relaxing. The view from the huge window is amazing. The privacy and quietness of the location is a nice bonus. We had a wonderful time. I already plan to visit again this fall.

Perfect Cozy Getaway

The Loft is about the most relaxing home away from home my wife and I could have imagined for a quick and quiet anniversary trip. Roomy but cozy, spotlessly clean and impeccably decorated, numerous amenities, and just very well thought-out in the details — like the type of mattress for the bed, the number of available charge ports, and all the different places to sit. It is a unique setting that is peacefully tucked away from the bustle of every-day life, but close enough to all that the Lake Guntersville and Huntsville areas have to offer. The panoramic window view is wonderful, but we also enjoyed sitting outside at night watching the stars. We only had time to spend two nights, but my wife was already talking about wanting to come back within the first couple of hours of arriving. It was the best place we could have spent that short time.

Relaxation Repeat

This was our 2nd time staying at this location. The return trip was just as peaceful as the first. The window in the loft is picturesque and provides a beautiful natural landscape to stare at during your stay. The owner is extremely quick to respond to messages and checked in with us to see if there was anything additional we needed! If you are looking for some peace and quiet and happen to be in the Guntersville area, then book it! You won’t regret it!

The perfect weekend!

We traveled to Alabama for a baseball tournament and decided to try something besides our typical hotel room. This property was everything we needed! It gave us the perfect place to relax after long days of playing baseball and plenty of room to spread out in our own space. The host was amazing and met all of our needs. We hope to play in the area again just so we can stay in the Red Barn!
