Nice apartment, comfortable furniture, functional kitchen. It is right next to the train tracks, so the trains can be loud but seem to stop before 10pm.

Convenient, beautifully decorated, comfortable accommodations - we will stay again. It should be noted that it is on the third flood and does not have an elevator, which was not a limitation for us, but would be an unwelcome surprise if you were unable to navigate the stairs. There is city noise and a little noise from the area and other apartments, but city noise doesn't bother us, just noting for anyone who may be looking for solitude that a city apartment may not be what you're looking for. We enjoyed the proximity to downtown and all it has to offer as well as a beautiful, modern, and comfortable place to call home for the weekend.

Love the location, host, beautiful apartment, secure,cozy, private Would highly recommend this unit! Everything you need and Phil the host is impeccable. Went out of his way to help us, even while stranded at an airport, he got the job done :)

Phil, our host, was extremely responsive and kind. The apartment is very new, modern, and clean. I’ve never written a review before on a VRBO but felt it was needed on this apartment. I fail to understand why it is called Serenity Stay. There was an Amtrak train coming and going quite frequently, the noise from traffic was extremely loud, and it must be located in close proximity to a police station as we heard sirens both nights. Next, nowhere did I see in the write up for this rental that there is no elevator. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor!Just a few niceties that would make this rental nicer if noise and 3 flights of stairs don’t deter you would be some room darkening drapes in the bedroom. Very bright from street lights and businesses nearby. It would also be very nice if owner offered Kleenex and a basket with a variety of shampoos, conditioners, and body wash!! Maybe I’ve been spoiled with past rentals but a loaf of quick bread or some muffins left on counter sure would be a welcome site!

This property is spacious, clean and comfortable. The owner was reasonably quick in responding to inquiries. However, this rental is definitely not serene. The building is a new construction built right beside train tracks. At 2 am we were woken by the loud horn and bright lights of an Amtrak train. Thanks to the situation of the bedroom and the large window without dark shades, it was as if the train was barreling right at us. The owner needs to drop "serene," clarify the logistics, and lower the rental price accordingly.

I would live here!

It is brand new and gorgeous! Loved everything about it! Stayed there with my small dog and he loved it too, plenty of grass and places to walk. We felt very safe there, enjoyed being on the top floor with a balcony too! Came to town for a show at Bell’s and to visit my old campus (WMU) while around- perfect place for both things, so close! It had everything we needed and more, plus it is stunning, super clean, and we slept great! Felt at home there and would definitely return! P.s. loved it being by the train tracks, I happen to love trains! There weren’t many anyway, just a couple Amtraks. Wasn’t a bother to my dog and I at all, the opposite actually! Waved to some from the balcony with morning coffee =) Many thanks to the hosts, appreciate the attention to detail and lovely space, very much enjoyed our stay! Wished it was longer!

Good but some things need fine tuning.

Overall the stay was good. With the apartment being new, it was very nice and clean inside. It was also very secure with multiple doors and access codes. My issue came about when first arriving after a 12-hour drive and getting locked out after initially gaining entry to the apartment. The door code/keypad failed to let us back in. Then it took about 45 minutes between trying to contact the host and waiting on hold for a VRBO representative for 15 minutes...TWICE since the initially call was disconnected. Finally, the host responded and was able to let us in remotely. I did not have any issues with the door keypad the remainder of the stay. Next, there were only 3 bath towels and 1 wash cloth for four adults staying 4 evenings. The host did provide more towels, but I had to ask for them. The ad on VRBO's site states the apartment sleeps 4. However, I made sure to ask ahead of time, since the property only lists one bedroom, how it sleeps four people? I was told there is an air mattress with sheets. This was fine with us, but if I did not ask ahead of time I would not have known. The VRBO ad stating the apartment sleeps four is a bit misleading and I thought against the VRBO rules.

We appreciate your stay. Our team responds as soon as messages are received. Unfortunately, due to an emergency situation, the host did not have accessibility to his phone for about an hour. Unfortunately, the timing lined up when you were locked out of the unit after arriving. However, once your multiple messages were received, we took immediate action to assist you. Additionally, upon your request for towels, four brand new towels were delivered as soon as possible. Although we understand frustration, unfortunately we are not a 24/7 staffed hotel but due attempt to meet every need and address every issue presented to us by our guests, which from our history is extremely minimal. Thank you again for your stay, and once again we apologize for your temporary delay in reaching us, but due to an unanticipated emergency that could not be avoided.
