PLEASE READ: The River Suite is the ground floor only self contained ADU with a private deck, propane grill and chairs. It does not share any of its space with the upstairs.
The outside amenities are available with approval from KJ for use ONLY when there is no one staying in the upstairs vacation rental. The upstairs is a separate rental for short term vacationers. Entry to the two separate spaces and parking are on opposite sides of each other of the house resulting in both parties rarely seeing one another. The intended use of this low nightly rate rental is to provide a very nice rental space to the working professional and is not intended for the vacationer due to not having open available use of the outdoor amenities. Exception is Masters Golf Tournament when it is rented during the week.
The River Suite (downstairs) has been occupied by quality professionals who have come to Augusta to work and need a clean, comfortable place to sleep. In this rental the most beautiful Augusta Savannah River can be viewed from the downstairs out every window and deck. ONE OF A KIND STAY!

The River Suite is only minutes to the wonderful eclectic downtown Augusta with many restaurants, bars, artisan shops and antique stores several blocks worth along with a river walk that runs along the Savannah River.
Augusta Regional Airport is an easy 10 mile drive with a larger airport available in Columbia, South Carolina about 1 hour away. Atlanta International Airport is a little over 2 hours away. Savannah and Charleston are both wonderful locations to visit and are easily drivable. Rental cars available in multiple locations and Uber/Lift are also at your disposal. Nothing is within walking distance, however you can drive to downtown in 5 minutes (our street turns right into a the Main Street) where a plethora of delicious restaurants, funky bars. artisan shops, antique shops, historic sites, the River Walk and welcoming people healing with Southern hospitality. If you are adventurous, paddle to the downtown on the Savannah River using one of KJ’s kayaks. Several Grocery stores are quick and easy access to shopping located across river, into North Augusta, South Carolina.

There are no neighbors to the River house on one side of the property. This location is off the beaten path just outside of downtown Augusta. Privacy, quietness and amazing river views with abundant natural beauty. Red Cardinal birds, Owls, Grey Herons, River Otters, Ducks live and play all around you on the 3 Acres of outdoor space surrounded by trees. You can watch the boaters and Crew rowing boats quietly glide across the often calm and glassy water. The property provides a large boat dock to enjoy even more closeness to the River for launching kayaks, paddle boards or to fish from. The River House offers a large salt water pool which looks over the River offering a unique experience. No other houses or structures are visible from this very secluded and private location, however stores, restaurants, gas stations, etc. are all easily accessible within 5-10 minutes. Just a couple minutes away is the Augusta Marina which has multiple opportunities for rental and tours on Jetski's, Paddle Boards, Boats and Pontoon Boat Rentals. Simply search Augusta Water Sports. If you mention that you are staying at KJ's, prior to renting a Jetski, the owner will enhance your experience. ALL of my guests who have rented Jetski's have said the rental was easy, affordable and a fun fantastic adventure of exploring the amazing Savannah River!
