Good location in Tulum
We were impressed with a couple of things from this stay. The unit is very modern with high end finishes. The kitchen is small but well equipped. There were basics such as paper products, coffee, filters, and cooking oils, which many of our past stays did not have. The bedrooms are large and we were surprised to see that the upper bedroom has a separate entrance to the hall in case you are sharing the unit with friends or relatives who may come and go at different times. The bedrooms could use a chair to sit on. The chairs on the terraces look modern but are not very comfortable. Some recliners on the terraces would be more useful. We were very disappointed with the communication from our host. There was a quick response when we booked, but I sent an email with questions and I had to follow up three days later for a response. I sent another email asking for help in renting a bicycle and never received a response. There was no binder with helpful information in the unit, such as where to take your garbage or what to do when we run out of distilled water. The concierge staff are friendly but do not speak English. There was no follow up email to see if we checked in OK or if we had any questions.
There are many really great restaurants within walking distance but you definitely need a car, bicycle or scooter to go in town or to the beach.. We rented electric bicycles from Tulum Ebikes. This allowed us to use the bike paths and skip the busy roads while getting to
