Treetop Hideaway is a modern lakefront cabin nestled on over an acre in a mountain setting with nearby access to world class fishing, hiking, and ATV trails. A peaceful location overlooking Burgess Reservoir with sweeping views and wildlife. This newly updated romantic chalet is a perfect getaway for couples or small groups looking to relax and enjoy the immediate area or go adventuring at the nearby attractions. Home has a high speed Starlink Internet. Book today.

Only 45 min to Colorado Springs, close to the S. Platte River's "Dream Stream" world class angling & fishing, Wolf Sanctuary, Florissant Fossil beds, Mueller State Park, The Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center, the Crags, Pike's Peak & ATV-ing you can relax and unwind at the cabin or go adventuring!

Bedrooms
There are 2 bedrooms in the home. They both feature new super comfortable beds with brand new mattresses, high quality bedding, plenty of pillows and we provide fresh linens for your comfort.
The master bedroom is downstairs and has an attached full bath. The second bedroom is loft style and overlooks the main space. It has a queen bed, nightstands with usb lamps. It has an attached half bath and outdoor balcony. The queen sleeper sofa is located in the main living area for an additional sleeping area.

Laundry Room:
There is an updated washer and dryer onsite, and we provide a few complimentary laundry sheets. There is an iron and ironing board as well.

Bathrooms:
The bathrooms are sparkling clean. Downstairs bathroom has a full-size tub with shower, and we provide fresh towels, washcloths, hand towels, makeup towels and a starter set of spa quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We also provide hand soap, rolls of toilet paper, and a hair dryer.

Kitchen:
Well equipped kitchen with all the comforts of home. A dual coffee maker for ground or K-cups. Range with built in air fryer. All new stainless steel appliances. Basic items like cooking spray, oil, spices, etc are left as a courtesy and are not guaranteed.

Common Areas: Guests do not have access to community lakes or common areas as the HOA will only allow homeowners to use hoa property. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the views and walk around the lake in designated areas at their leisure.

House Manual:
There is a detailed house manual with everything that you could ever possibly need to know about the space and the local area, including Wi-Fi information, device instructions, contact information.

Please complete a walkthrough of the house/property before departure to ensure no valuables are left behind. Be advise we are not responsible for any items/valuables misplaced or left behind.

Automated lock- Guest will be given a code to use during their stay.

Use of lakes are restricted to HOA members only and guests are restricted from fishing and use of lake property including all common areas.

The roads are well kept by the county. If it snows more than a few inches we have our driveway plowed and walkway shoveled for guests. There is a flat area to park near garage. Guests are not allowed to use garage.

The cabin is open and accessible year round and are well maintained by the county and plowed after snow. Please make sure you are traveling in an appropriate vehicle, especially in the wintertime.
For your heath and safety a professional spa technician will perform weekly maintenance on the hot tub. We will make every effort to notify you before technician arrives if possible. Technician will only need access to the hot tub area.
Mountain communities value their peace and quiet. Most residences and guests are here to experience the natural beauty and peacefulness our area has to offer. Please keep noise to a minimum at all times. Noise that can be heard beyond the property line is prohibited at all times. We are equipped with a noise monitoring system (minut) and will be notified if noise levels are above normal.

Outdoor trash: We do not want to attract wildlife like bears or predators. Please dispose of all trash in bear proof trash can at the street.

Common Areas: Guests do not have access to community lakes or common areas as the HOA will only allow homeowners to use hoa property.

The property is equipped with a surveillance camera at the front door only for security purposes. There are no interior cameras.

No ATV/UTVs: The roads are county roads and unlicensed vehicles are illegal. You may not drive your ATVs to the nearby trails, they must be transported there.
Early check ins/Late checkouts may be available. Please be advised there is a fee of $25 per hour for both early check ins and late check outs. Requests must be approved and paid in advance and are not always available due to time restraints.
Policies:
--Fire bans may occasionally happen. The timing of this is out of our control. This may mean not being able to use certain fire features and/or the bbq grill. Live burns and fires outside are strictly not permitted. Please reference Teller County sheriff's office website for current fire ban laws.
--At this elevation you don't need AC! It stays much cooler at 9,000 ft and open windows keeps it comfortable on a summer day.
--Guests do not have lake access. HOA will only allow homeowners use of lakes and common areas.
--No loud music or noise- Property is equipped with noise level control device so we can continue to be good neighbors.
ATVs and UTVs must be on a trailer at all times and are illegal to use on county roads.
No pets please as homeowner is highly allergic.

Parking:
There is free parking for 4 vehicles. There are two separate parking areas and a garage that is available for guest use. Low clearance vehicles, please drive carefully. 4WD/AWD is recommended for winter months. Roads are well maintained and we do have snow removal. Host offers several 4 wheel drive vehicles for rent at an additional fee including a Luxury Cadillac Escalate ESV that seats 7 with Thule equipment storage and a Jeep Grand Cherokee with Thule equipment storage. Please contact host for details.
