Klöpp Lodge - Snæfellsnes Peninsula

This stunning four-bedroom house in the Snæfellsnes peninsula has recently been renovated for your comfort. Just a 30-minute drive from the ring road, the accommodation is perfect to unwind and relax, in an undisturbed area, with beautiful view in all directions – both towards the sea and mountains.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything that should be required for a perfect cup of coffee – or Sunday roast. The dining area is spacious with space for up to eight diners, and the cosy living room has all amnesties, including a smart TV.

The four comfortable bedrooms will have you well rested after a long day. Three bedrooms have a queen-size bed, while one has a bunk bed with capacity for up to three guests. The two bathrooms have a walk-in shower.

We had a wonderful stay! The house had amazing views and was very comfortable for our group of nine. We especially loved the mountain scenery and being right next to horses — such a peaceful and unique setting. The home was easy to find, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The shower setup was a little quirky, but nothing we couldn’t handle. Overall, a great experience!

Great location and lovely place for group

We had five adults and there was more space than we needed. Would definitely stay again. The horses nearby were super cute and friendly.

Klopp Lodge is spectacular…

The location is amazing. The beautiful mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. And the house is beautiful. We’ve booked dozens of accommodations through VRBO, and this was our favorite. Highly recommended!!!

Wonderful house in a beautiful location,

Beds were comfortable. Good sized space available for our group of eight. Kitchen had a Nespresso machine with original capsules and an electric teapot. Olive oil and spices available. Well stocked kitchen with an induction stove, pots and pans, etc. Amazing biews of sunset behind the mountains.

We just returned from an 8 day vacation in Iceland. Staying at this beautiful VRBO was my husbands favorite thing he did on the entire trip. The house is clean, cozy and the view out each and every window is just gorgeous. If you want to relax and be surrounded by beautiful countryside - book now! We are a family of six and this house worked perfect for us for the two days that we stayed there. The check in app that they send you is very easy to use and includes information on restaurants nearby. We ate at Hotel Rjukandi which is 10 min away and highly recommend it! Enjoy your trip!

The lodge itself is beautiful and well-appointed. The vistas from the windows are stunning, including the horses & wildflowers. The kitchen was well-stocked, much more than we required. The owner responded in a timely manner to questions and concerns. My suggestions for improvement are minimal, but perhaps will be helpful for other guests: a hard copy of house rules and guidelines in case there are technology issues; a fan & screens in the windows that open because it actually got a bit too warm inside on the week we were there (the 'hottest summer week' apparently); a small sign at the fork in the driveway indicating that property 2 is to the left. Overall, this location was perfect for exploring the peninsula and experiencing what it would be like to live in the extraordinary countryside day-to-day.
