Bright & Modern 5 BR Wintergreen Home; Minutes from Hiking, Skiing, and Wineries

Welcome to Hiker’s Haven!

Located in Wintergreen Resort, Hiker’s Haven is the perfect retreat for all seasons. After a day of hiking, skiing, golf, tubing, or visiting the nearby wineries or breweries, come back to our home to relax and unwind.

This spacious 3 story, 5-bedroom home sleeps 10 people. It has recently been renovated. The main level has an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, a large kitchen and dining area, and a cozy living room with a fireplace. There is also a master bedroom suite with king bed and full bathroom on the main floor. Enjoy the tranquility of the mountains while sitting on the large wrap-around deck. On the second floor, there are 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed along with an additional full bathroom. Downstairs has a large activity room including an additional wide screen TV for watching movies along with both a foosball and air hockey table. There is also a workout area with yoga mats and free weights. There are an additional two bedrooms (queen and 2 twin beds) downstairs with a shared bathroom.
Amenities include: AC, internet, smart TV, fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker and a Keurig, dining Room table that seats 10, propane gas grill, washer and dryer, dishwasher, paved driveway with ample parking, access to outdoor community pool during summer months.

We provide our guests with linens and towels, along with starter sets of both paper products (paper towels and toilet paper) and cleaning supplies (handsoap, dish detergent, and laundry pod).

Our convenient location offers something for everyone. The house is on Wintergreen Mountain close to the resort, ski slopes, and other amenities. Hiker’s Haven is located just minutes away from amazing day hikes on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Numerous wineries and breweries including Devil’s Backbone and Bold Rock Cidery are also only a short drive away.
Must be at least 25 years old to rent. No loud noise allowed outside after 10 pm. Wintergreen is in a peaceful, private, neighborhood and is not suitable for loud parties.

Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive 50% refund.

Spectacular for the 4th

We had 6 adults and 4 teens and this home was perfect. The teens had their own lounge and rooms in the lower level. The home is so convenient to everything in and around Wintergreen! We hiked at Crabtree Falls, tubed with Rivanna River Company, wineries (Afton Mountain and Jefferson), fireworks at Wintegreen!!! So much to do close by!!! The host was very responsive and helpful. Everything was seamless!

Beautiful Stay!

We had a wonderful time at this home! It felt so cozy and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell a lot of care went into making it feel like a true home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful updated ski chalet at Wintergreen

We booked this for a family and friends ski vacation and loved it. The house is so well taken care of and modern. Plus it's just a short drive to the ski area. The area is beautiful and watching the snow from the house was breathtaking. Everyone in our party enjoyed the house including the children; the air hockey table was a big hit with the kids. There was plenty of parking and Cristina, the host, even has a snow plowing service for the driveway and entryway. This is a wonderful house at Wintergreen.

First and most importantly of all, this is a clean VRBO. The description is accurate. The only reason why I can only give 4/5 stars is because the beds are not comfortable. It's nothing that a simple mattress protector with memory foam and a second (decent) pillow couldn't remedy

Beautiful home. Excellent layout. Really close to Wintergreen. Would definitely stay again. Foosball and air hockey tables a huge plus. Well stocked kitchen. Only knock or criticism would be take kitchen trash bags. Only one provided and when you have 8 folks for a couple of days and multiple meals, you need trash bags.

Spacious comfortable home

This was a wonderful house. High ceilings, modern interior. Our families were very comfortable with plenty of room. Great neighborhood and so close to Wintergreen, trails, etc. Would absolutely rent again.

Great place for enjoying natures.

Excellent set up and very clean and close to resort

We were all very impressed with the house. It was very clean (think brand new). It had everything we needed and was a great set up for our two families and kids significant others. Also it is less than 5 minutes to tubing which was great. I would highly recommend the home. Also the kids loved the games provided.
