Just remodeled private 3-BR cottage with log cabin siding, pine interior, hardwood floors, modern kitchen with stainless appliances, natural wood island countertop, large deck with outdoor dining set. Incredible views of mountains and Lake George nearby, 5 minute walk to trailhead for Adirondack mountain hiking. Includes charcoal grill, large sectional sofa, washer/dryer. No direct lake access is included, but we're 2 miles from YMCA Silver Bay resort with beaches, gym, boat rentals, and full facilities. We're next-door to historic Grace Chapel which offers concerts and services in Summer months. Nearby Snug Harbor South offers boat rentals and docks. 30 minutes to Lake George Village and Outlet shopping. Public swimming beaches are available at Hague (6 mi) and Bolton Landing (10 mi).

Host was responsive and prompt with request for some soap for dishwasher and additional garbage bags. Hot water especially in bathroom was inadequate almost nonexistent.

The house was located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood . We really enjoyed the front deck area , plenty of seating . A lot of friendly people waking their dogs . The house was very clean and comfortable . Kitchen well equipped, beds comfortable and bathroom clean . Thank you we really enjoyed our stay .

Home was clean and lovely, equipped with everything you would need on vacation. The neighborhood was quiet. I definitely recommend this home for a quiet weekend get away in the Adirondack's.

Lovely home

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Lake Side Cottage. The kitchen and bathrooms were newly remodeled. The house was spotless. I loved the many windows that brings in all the daylight.I highly recommend!

Beautiful area with great access to much of the Lake George and Adirondack region: swimming, hiking. skiing. Clean well appointed cabin. Gracious hosts who are quick to fix any issues that might arise. We had lovely relaxing weekend.

We had a great time at this home. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating- they gave us a heads up about a great fireworks show at silver bay. The property was well maintained with a great kitchen and comfortable beds. I’d highly recommend this for a family stay on Lake George

Perfect location!

The house was perfect. It has a great couch in the sitting area and an updated kitchen. Ceiling fans kept the temperature comfortable. Inside was impeccably clean. The location was great- this was our first time visiting Lake George and the trail that’s literally right across the street was a very nice hike. We also did some great other hikes (highly recommend driving over the Shelving Rock) and had some very good dinners in Bolton Landing restaurants. Host was a quick communicator when we had a question.

Nice Quiet Weekend

Great little Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay . The property was clean, modern, great WiFi etc.We had everything we needed, except a wisk for pancakes which a fork easily replaced. The neighborhood is quiet and good for short walks, 1 loop about 1.2 miles. We enjoyed a little hiking which was very close. Overall a nice place to spend a few days. Likely even better in the spring, summer, and fall.

Cozy home

The home is very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is very nice and quite. Everyone in the area were so friendly where ever I went. It was very easy to communicate with the owner. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The beds are comfortable.we were very pleased with this rental, 5 stars definitely! There is a general store close by that has a small selection of groceries. The store also makes breakfast sandwiches and very good subs. I did my grocery shopping at Price Chopper, which is about 20 miles away.

Great Weekend Visit

This house was perfect for our stay in Silver Bay for a family wedding. it was in perfect condition, came with every convenience, and was spotlessly clean. It's located in a beautiful, quiet part of town right near the lake. A great place to stay if you're going to be at Lake George.

Lovely cottage in Silver Bay/Hague

We wanted to be close to Silver Bay and were able to achieve that with this beautiful cottage. We are a family of five and the accommodations fit us well to give everyone their own space.

We have been coming to this area with our families since we were born, and keep on returning. The Lake is our main attraction, since we will be sailing, swimming, kayaking and wind-surfing as much as we can in-season. In the cooler months, there are countless hikes and 3 major ski areas (West Mountain, Whiteface and Gore) within a reasonable drive.

This charming 50-year old summer cottage has been winterized and renovated while keeping the period look and feel, with modern amenities. The area is exceptionally quiet and private, with fantastic views of nearby mountains and Lake George. The Silver Bay YMCA resort is a 5-minute drive with countless facilities, beaches, kayaks and sailboats, gymnasium with modern weight-room, ice-cream shop, auditorium with concerts and shows and arts-and crafts center.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The Sabbath Day Point is a private lakeside area separate from the busy Lake George Village and Bolton Landing downtowns, but close enough to find a nice dinner or shop to cook in the new kitchen. We are minutes away from several trailheads for Adirondack hiking, yet the property is large and flat for outdoor activities at home. Nearby Lake George is among the cleanest in the country, and is still used as drinking water.
