We even have plenty of parking space for vehicles, trailers, and anything else you may be traveling with. Whether you are in town for hunting or fishing, visiting friends and family, or just passing through, The Perch is the perfect place for you and yours! Come enjoy the fresh air, beautiful views, and gorgeous water in the historic town of Lake Providence, Louisiana. Please do not book this property for parties, property is in a quiet residential neighborhood and we want to respect our neighbors.

Everything was nice except the one and only TV was not working g; especially, during football season was a missed. Communication with owner was a missed after expressing the TV issue. I was very disappointed, we had to travel to family & friends homes just to watch the games. Other than that, we enjoyed the house.

Host was very responsive, accommodating and friendly! The house is as advertised and perfect for me and my sister. It is in a rather secluded area so finding it at night, albeit a during a rainstorm, was difficult. But, no issues thereafter and is stunningly beautiful in the daylight! Economics aside, I do want to acknowledge and thank the hosts for inadvertently helping the area be more racially diverse and accepting. I started visiting family in the area nearly 30 years ago and at that time there was no such integration and sometimes hostility. The few people we encountered this time were warm and inviting. Given the chaos in our country right now, we are all more alike than what separates us! Great experience!

Lovely stay on the lake

Cute house the perfect size for our family of 3. We enjoyed going out on the dock and watching the fish and birds and turtles. Beds were comfortable and hosts were very responsive. We hope to stay again on our next trip.

Peaceful, Comfortable, We Will Return

We enjoyed this property as it was perfect for a quiet get-a-way. The view of the lake, the dock, and the wildlife made it almost surreal. It appears small from the outside but the house is surprisingly very room inside. We didn't want to leave. We hope to come back soon.

Very cute cabin by the lake. Small but just enough room for my kiddos and Spouse. Very clean. Will be back to enjoy the lake when it warms up.

Die Lage direkt am Wasser ist schön, der Steg ist einladend allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Auf der Terrasse konnten wir leider nicht sitzen da wir innerhalb von 2 Minuten komplett von Mücken zerstochen warten

Beautiful!

My family enjoyed our stay very much. The lake is beautiful and the kids enjoyed swimming right off the private dock. We will be back!

Lovely rental with a wonderful view of the lake.

Perfect place to stay in the East Carroll area

This was my first time staying at the property as I usually stay in a local motel when I visit for work once a month. Being that this would be a more extended stay for a week, I decided to book this property. I couldn’t have been more pleased. The place was clean, had a nice clean tile floor that helped my allergies, and the host was very helpful and responsive. She even communicated with me very regularly when there was an unexpected power outage from a storm. This is my new place to stay the next time I come back in town.

What a hidden gem..

In a perfect world, selfishly I wish no one else would find this hidden gem, however quite sure that wouldn't be fair to the phenomenal Owners! Ms Gretchen was beyond professional to work with. Due to arriving much later than expected, we had a time locating actual property on the land, but she was extremely helpful and fabulous with my requests! The view is spectacular, and the open layout of the cottage is really accommodating; allowing true space for 4. Spacious land and yard for parking, gorgeous views of lake out sliding patio doo! No biggie, however a few small items of attention/suggestions are a deep clean of blinds, perhaps place a mat/rug at the front door, since rain/mud can cause tracking of entryway floor, and lastly, a new coffee pot, as did not work on cute little coffee bar set up! Kitchen was well stocked however! Think I'll buy a new coffee pot just to gift the home! ;-) Other than those SMALL mentions, this did not disturb the wonderful and comfortable vacation rental! Beds are super comfortable as well! Kudos to the Duffs for making this one of the most relaxed visits - Thank you a million times over!!

Nice spot on the water

Pleasant experience. Beds and bedding were excellent. Bathroom was super small and outdated but clean. Views and access to lake - excellent. Kitchen is huge. I’d recommend it to others. I already have.
