This was a beautiful place to come back to, after a day of visiting local art galleries and sculpture gardens. The place was clean. The neighbors were friendly. It was all around a good experience. We will look them up again, the next time we're in town.

Very comfortable

We went for Purdue family day, and enjoyed the stay there! Comfortable and cozy, we enjoyed the 3 day stay there.

Quick Purdue trip

Overall, we had a good trip to Purdue. The house was a little farther away than we wanted to be, however, the neighborhood was quiet and nice. The property manager was readily available and responded quickly to our questions.

Had issues.

The neighborhood is shady. I did not feel like it was a good area and it was at least a 15 minute drive to campus, not exactly “close to Purdue” in my book. I was nervous with the number of people milling around at all hours. When we got there we had been given the wrong door code. I rang the ring doorbell and also tried to call the property owner with no luck. We had a function to attend and were on a time schedule so not being able to enter was a problem. Finally after several unsuccessful attempts we were able to reach the property owner and get access. None of the windows had screens and the house was stuffy. The mattress in the main bedroom didn’t have a box spring and was very low to the ground. Turns out the entire bed in the main room was completely broken (bed frame) and when we laid down for the night the mattress almost fell to the floor through the bed. We ended up putting the mattress in the floor and sleeping on the floor so as not to break it further. The bed in the other room was hard as a rock and my elderly mother didn’t sleep at all. There were no extra blankets or linens. There were cigarette butts all around the back patio that my mom cleaned up. Our shower had hair in it. Neither of the tubs had stoppers so bathing our child was difficult. There were no condiments or even waters in the fridge. Overall just not the best stay. I messaged the property owner about the cigarettes and the bed and didn’t get any response. For what we paid I expected more.

Considering I have lived in this neighborhood for nearly 23 years, I assure you it is not "shady". There were no people "milling about". We had Jennifer in the home within 3 minutes of her arrival,. I'm not sure why she would be concerned about screens on the windows (they were in the garage) when the home is equipped with both heat and C/A. Until Jennifer's stay, we had never had a complaint about the mattresses. The bed most certainly was NOT broken prior to Jennifer's stay. I personally broom sweep under all beds at every cleaning; perhaps the "child" Jennifer refers to (that wasn't on the booking) was allowed to jump on the bed??? I also personally clean the bathrooms; there was no hair in either bathtub when Jennifer checked in. Tub drain stoppers were located in the vanity in each bathroom. Per our listing, we provide salt, pepper, and olive oil for our guests use during their stay. I'm not sure what other "condiments" Jennifer was expecting. Obviously, Jennifer is not the kind of guest we enjoy hosting. We much prefer guests who communicate with us DURING their stay. We have to take Jennifer's complaints with a grain of salt as she obviously was looking for someone/something to blame damages on that HER group created. Fortunately, the vast majority of our guests will reach out to us if they break something, or have any issues at all! We would not host her again at any of our homes.

Nice place, Nice neighborhood

The place was nice, we liked having the garage to park in as it was raining when we left and being able to repack the vehicle out of the weather was nice. The neighborhood is nice and quite.
