Fisherman's Retreat on South Sandy Creek

Enjoy private fishing access from your backyard on South Sandy Creek and experience world class salmon and steelhead fishing. You will have an entire apartment to yourself in a separate building with your own private entrance stocked with toiletries and linens.

5 miles from beautiful Southwick Beach on Lake Ontario, there are limitless options close by for boating, kayaking, hiking, off-roading, snowmobiling, ice fishing and skiing! 18 min from Pulaski, very close to Tug Hill.

Large living room with couches and smart TV. First bedroom is spacious with a twin sized bed along with a twin daybed with trundle. Note, the first bedroom flows into the living room through a large open doorway. Second bedroom has a queen sized bed and large closet. One bathroom with tub/shower and large vanity sink. Full eat-in kitchen. Very large driveway that can accommodate cars/trucks/campers/trailers. Included is an outdoor rack to hang up your waders!

Guests have access to the entire apartment, backyard, firepit and creek.

Please no smoking/vaping. $500 fine for any smoking/vaping within the unit.

VRBO was very clean and the area is nice amd quiet. River was right down the hill from the back. While the river was very low i can't fault anyone for that. Over all it was a really nice place to stay.

A relaxing experience

Very inviting, clean, comfortable, and lovely spot by the water surrounded by rolling hills of beautiful farms. We had a wonderful time and consider staying here again.

Nature At Its Best

My husband and I enjoyed an idyllic retreat into nature's giftedness. Our three night stay included checking out nearby beaches, but mostly centered on the sounds and sights of this well groomed massive property right on Sandy Creek. Our dog was loved it, too.

Perfect quiet retreat!

Wonderfully apportioned space with lots of thought put into it. Beautiful easy access to the creek for the kids. The place was perfectly kept and had everything we needed. We will be recommending this to all our friends!

Another peaceful and pleasant stay

Brianna is a great host and the property is nice and peaceful. The house has everything we needed for a nice stay, and its especially peaceful to hear the river nearby and have plenty of room for our doggy to run around behind the house. It snowed our first night, and it came out of the blue - our host made sure that the driveway got plowed first thing the next morning so that we could get out easily with plenty of time to visit with family. This was our second stay and we would definitely stay again a third time.

Great Location

The location was fantastic as there if fishing access just behind the property. The place is very clean and updated. Linens, towels, furniture, etc all clean. The host was excellent with very quick responses to any questions. We will be booking in the future.

Perfect getaway near the lake!

This apartment was a perfect place for a little getaway near lake ontario! It was clean, updated and very well kept. It was quiet and felt private for being on the side of their property. The owner was friendly and quick to take care of a concern we had with the grill. Overall this rental exceeded our expectations and we would definately stay here again!

Great place close to Pulaski

The place is only 20-25 mins from Pulaski. The couches and beds were all comfortable and we all slept great. The kitchen was stocked well with utensils, pots, tableware and a cast iron skillet. There is also a Tops 10min away. Great place would recommend.

Tranquil Hideaway

Absolutely beautiful property and lots of it. The deck was a great spot for morning coffee as well as evening cheese curds and wine. The fire pit was nicely planned. We loved the Adirondack chairs. We appreciate having all the creature comforts. You thought of everything. Thank you for a great week in the north country.

Just what we needed

This is a cute newly renovated property with all the amenities that you may need. It’s close to Sackets Harbor, which was important for me since I was running the Half Marathon it’s in a great location close to many great restaurants. I also really enjoyed having a washer and dryer on the property since I did not want to bring home smelly sweaty running clothes. We unfortunately did not use the fire pit because we had so many other things going on and we were only there for two nights. I highly recommend this property for a family with no more than 3 children. It’s in a great location very close to Sackets Harbor and Henderson harbor.

All the comforts of home.

The title says it all. This rental had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Comfortable beds, hot hot water and a well equipped kitchen. We arrived to find the apartment clean and stocked with snacks/coffee/ect. A nice touch after a long day of travel. During our stay the owners, who we never got to meet, did small things daily to help make our stay even more special. A couple extra chairs added by the fire and even a fun “maze” mowed in the tall grass for the kids to enjoy. We had a great time and look forward to another visit soon. (Two adults, two children ages 5 and 7)

My husband and I love living here in northern NY. We are super close to the beautiful beaches on Lake Ontario as well as Tug Hill where there is great snowmobiling, four wheeling and cross country skiing. It's a true hidden gem!

Having a property right on South Sandy Creek where the salmon run comes up every fall is amazing! There is also steelhead fishing all year round.
