We enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and the small maintenance issue we had with the hot tub was fixed within one day.

Perfect holiday getaway for large family

Beautiful, spacious home with absolutely gorgeous snowy lake views… perfect for the holidays!! We enjoyed utilizing the amenities like the hot tub, bumper pool, arcade games etc, and cooking in the beautiful kitchen that opened up to the main area. Great space to hang out for a family of all ages!

The house was perfect for our family. Our 3 sons and daughters in law, along with our 5 grandchildren fit well it this house and even great-grandma had her own master bedroom. Also the pizza oven was a HUGE hit!! We went to Ledos and got fresh dough and made our own pizzas 3 days in a row!! Our winter vacation is always the favorite family trip because we relax and just stay put... Deep Creek is the best place for that.. Only complaint.... The pool was very small compared to other houses we have rented while we have stayed in deep creek. I will be looking for a place with at least 8 bedrooms and a bigger pool for next year.l. Over all it was a great time!!!!

Dream House

Our family stayed here between Christmas and New Years and we had the best time. Great for big groups! The house was absolutely gorgeous and in a prime location. Everything from the hot tub, lakefront view, amenities, beautiful kitchen and awesome rooms-each with private bath was absolutely amazing! Short drive to Wisp and restaurants. We loved everything about this house and can’t wait to rent again soon-book it now, you won’t be disappointed!

Everything was perfect except…

I want to say if you don’t choose This property specifically for the pool than you will love it. I paid for my family and the entire group of 17 for a long weekend getaway. The pool was the reason we chose this property because I have a 6 year old autistic son who has been asking me everyday if it’s summer yet so he can go swimming. For the 3 week lead up I’ve been telling him we go to vacation house and you will go swimming! Well we get there and the indoor pool is 60 degrees. No way I could let him in that pool. I call the property management and they assure me the pool guy will be there within the hour. About 4-5 hours later they arrive and he says oh I will look for. Part but not sure it can be fixed. I call property management next morning and he argues with me that the reading of the pool temp where he is says 80 degrees. We tell him it’s not are you calling me a liar. We then tell him the only reason. We chose this place was so our son could go swimming. He can’t ski, he can’t do any of the winter activities. The point to be there for him was that pool. He said I don’t know what you want me to do about that but the pool was working the morning you checked in because the pool guy goes everyday to check. I said your pool guy knew it wasn’t working because that water was ice cold when we arrived. It did not lose temperature that fast. And yet you didn’t say anything prior to our stay or even offer a discount. View was nice and house was clean.

Providing accurate and timely information about amenities is important, and I'm sorry to hear that didn't happen in this case. While I'm glad the house was clean and the view was nice, I appreciate you taking the time to provide this feedback. It will help the property management improve their service for future guests. I hope your family was still able to enjoy the getaway, despite the pool issue and we hope to have the opportunity to rent to you again in the future where I am confident we can provide a better rental experience.
