House was poorly represented in the reservation ad. Pictures led to believe that the house was newer and well maintained, windows are old and rattled with the traffic going by or when you closed doors. There was no stove in the kitchen and the dish washer was broke. Couches were old and uncomfortable. Host did communicate well and worked with me on an early check in which i much appreciated

Great and quaint getaway!

We stayed at this property to visit some family for the holidays in the Ocala area. Great and convenient location, it was clean and our dogs enjoyed the fenced backyard. Will stay again if I come back to the area.

Nice clean property

The house was very clean even though we saw some roaches in the kitchen. The AC worked perfect. The host was very helpful and communication was a breeze.

Best of Ocala Accommodations

When I visit Florida, it's hard to find somewhere centrally located, clean, and reasonably priced. This home was a good choice for us. Nice 3 bed 2 bath. Everyone had their own space. Grocery store and restaurants nearby.

Perfect Spot for a Visit

This property was perfect for us! We have family we were visiting in the area and this home was a perfect place to retreat to at the end of the day. Everything was neat and clean when we arrived and while there was some patchwork in one of the bathrooms, this in no way detracted from the charm of the home. I loved how close to everything we were and the neighborhood felt safe. We would definitely stay in this location again!

ok for a short stay

there is no working dishwasher, usually accessible washer/dryer and only a counter top oven (not full size).If there for more days or hoping to do any cooking would need a real oven, more cookware, and more silverware.

Great location to access everything in central FL. Property was clean and area was safe. Plenty of typical shopping and food options nearby. Great check in/check out process. Would use again

Fort King property

Wonderful location near downtown Ocala. We were in town to celebrate a birthday with old friends. The home was convienently located and made for a wonderful weekend.

Weekend trip

We came to Florida to clean up my dad's house so we could sell it for him. We needed a comfortable, clean place, close to his assisted living facility. We enjoyed the cozy beds and cleanliness of the home. Our host, Miguel was kind and helpful. The sign on the wall said it all, Everyday is a gift. I saw this and knew we were in the right place. Wonderful Italian restaurant called Franco's!

This home is centralized in Ocala which was easy for where we needed to be. A cute clean house right on a corner walking distance to the Veterans Memorial park.

Very clean & great location

We came to kayak some of the local springs. This was perfectly located within 10 min to Silver Springs. We loved how spacious and clean the home was. Simple & comfortable- This fit our needs perfectly. Did I mention how clean it was? I had spilled water on the floor and wiped it up and my paper towel was clean.. that said a lot!

The Castle

It was a nice comfortable place to stay. Just a couple of things to mention. There was no washcloths in the house for bathing.. the whole bath toilet is loose from the floor. And when I had to cut my trip short because of the storm, I contacted the host, about a possible refund and did not even receive an acknowledgment or an answer. We all know that things happen outside of our control at times. I'm sure I would have enjoyed staying the remainder of the week but was not able to do so.

Family visit

Location is nice and a quiet neighborhood. It was perfect for my wife and kids, 7 and under. Very clean and comfortable. Only complaints is the grass was a little tall and needed to be cut, and bed frame were a little bent which made the mattresses have dips and not level when laid on. Overall a nice clean place.

Waiting to close on our new home

We stayed at this wonderful house while we were closing on our home and we’re thinking about returning just for the location. We have recommended this house to friends and family. The owner was on point with his communication, the property was everything as promised, and we enjoyed the fenced in backyard for our dogs!

Great Place

We were down for a quick trip for a wedding. We lucked up on this rental. I would highly recommend this place. Very clean and the pictures do not do this place justice. The house is very large and is also pet friendly. The fenced backyard was great and we loved the sun porch. When we come back down again I hope this place is available so we can stay here again. The host answered any questions we had very quickly. If you are looking for a nice place, look no further you have found it.

Rock the Country festival

There were Only two down sides to the property. The yard was way overgrown and should have been fresh cut! We saw a few roaches in the kitchen!

Great location and great size home but probably will try a new location next time.

Nice house in excellent location. Spacious and seemed very clean, except did find a couple cockroaches in the kitchen. Loved the place other than the bugs we found. Not an infestation but still gross. Owner provided great communication and follow up and ensured the issue will be addressed immediately (we were flying home next morning). Dishwasher had sign on it saying do not use for some reason (seemed odd). Garage also not avaliable to use with locked door from kitchen, windows on the door to the garage covered to avoid looking out into garage, and sign saying do not enter (also kinda odd).

Nice clean house, nothing fancy

The house was quite clean, beds were good. Could have been more towels and washclothes but Miguel brought us 4 more washclothes when I asked. Silverware should be updated. It is old and not much of it. Dishwasher was not useable, had a sign on it so must have been out for awhile. Lock on screen door on screen porch doesn't work. But two doors going into house from screen porch have good locks on them. Back yard is fenced with about 4' high kennel fence, suitable for dogs. House faces a round about but traffic noise was not a big problem. Would probably stay again. Host was very attentive to our needs and questions.

Great location

The house had been updated and was really nice and VERY clean. I particularly liked how the bedroom had tables with lamps, providing a space for my iPhone and glasses. The bed was comfortable and the TV easy to use. I really liked the "guest" availability. Also pleased with ample electrical outlets. Great WiFi - strong signal - and loved the microwave. Nice size yard that is totally fenced it. The screened porch was a nice addition for letting the dogs “in and out” and a place to dry them off when coming "in" during the thunderstorm. I do wish there was a light at the door to the screened porch and a few security lights around the back of the house. I had to use a flashlight when going to the back yard at night and early in the morning with the dogs. The street in front of the house was busier than I expected, however, not an issue as the driveway is on a side street. The neighborhood was nice for walking and the neighbors friendly. Location was GREAT. Everything you could think of was within a couple miles from the house: Publix, restaurants, WAWA, RaceTrac, fast foods and so on. . .
