This quaint property is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and Willapa Bay, providing the perfect opportunity for a serene escape. Take a trip to Morehead Park (less than a quarter of a mile away) and other sights along the Long Beach Peninsula. With year-round festivals and activities, including boating, fishing, clamming, hiking trails, and museums, you’ll be in the perfect spot for a wonderful retreat.

Inside the cottage, you’ll have everything you need to feel at home. Take the compact kitchen, for instance. Including a fridge, stove, and microwave, you can make and store your favorite recipes for the day. Curl up in the cozy bed and watch TV shows for a nice evening in. Outside, you’ll find a firepit in the common area, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing night beneath the stars.

Cute as a clam

This was a pretty good set up for what I needed which was finding an affordable place to stay for a couple nights during razor clamming. Although the place is very old it was clean and well kept. Communication with hosting service was good as well. My only issues were a sticky lock (hard to remove the key from front door) and muddy parking and drive way.

Cute for sure but….

It was a great room in a very cute area. The only problem was the mattress needed to be updated. Also a removal shower head would make the shower easier to use. It was the perfect thing for what I needed

Writing a review is hard because you get what you pay for, so I don’t feel right about “complaining.” They are good at communicating with you, especially Vacasa if you have concerns like mine. I dealt with a shower water leak, and they sent out a plumber. You will have to wash the dishes by hand, so if you don’t like that, don’t book. However, if you like the feel of an old cottage, then this is the place. * the bed was uncomfortable and caused a lot of back pain.

Great getaway

We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room so for us it was perfect. A couple of things that were a little rough. Small shower and no kind of ac or fan so there was no air movement. The bed was comfortable. The table was great for our cribbage game. It took a few minutes to figure out the remote controls. We still had a great stay

This room had not been cleaned - frig was dirty, floors had mud on them, furniture was dirty, tap and toilet water were orange. Unhealthy, unsafe, definitely bad. Tried to get some help and they never did send anyone to clean. I am trying to get our money back as we had to find a different place to stay. Will not book again with them.

I wish I did not have to write this.

It's difficult for me to tell of our experience because I don't like to be discouraging in anyway. The outside of the place we stayed was not welcoming. The siding on the building was full of cobwebs, faded plastic Christmas flowers in the flower pots from what seemed like, years ago and the front door was very dirty. When we finally got in because there were no clear instructions on how to use the key pad, the place appeared to be clean and in order. We did not use the kitchen facility so I really can't comment on it. The sheets on the bed were wrinkled which always makes me wonder if they were actually change - they were also a dingy. The blankets are always an iffy thing for me because I never know how often they are washed and these had either seen better days or needed a good washing. So I just thought of 'herd immunity' and accepted it. We left a day early because, in all honesty, we just could not handle another night there. I'm sorry, this is not a glowing review, I truly wish it could have been. I think a little power washing on the outside and pristine linens. it could be a very nice place to stay.

Liked that it was located close to where we wanted to be. Lots to not like. Floors were dirty upon arrival. Sheets were stained and random long dark hairs, and put on in a way to hide nasty stains. The mattress cover when we did get clean sheets the next morning was filthy with stains nobody wants to know about. There was long dark hairs randomly in some of the clean towels. Window screens were very filthy with cobwebs. Found 3 baby live spiders that I had to dispose of. Who wants to sleep with spiders? The permanent renter in unit #4 brought home her gentlemen to have relations with 3 out of the 4 nights we were there. Thin walls and had to put up with their moaning and hitting the wall which the beds were on same wall. Property owner really should take better care of their grounds and fill in all the potholes in the driveway. The parking was pretty tight! I would not recommend this place to any friends or family. The pictures online are from when it was a fresh remodel. Really need to keep up on outside appearance and housekeeping on their level of cleanliness. Please have them look under the bed and and behind things while cleaning. A vacuum instead of broom would have been nice.
