Lighthouse sits directly on the white sandy beaches in Gulf Shores and overlooks the crystal blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico! Lighthouse 1610 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit with a sleeper sofa. It is located on the 16th floor, and has a large balcony, open kitchen and living area. There is a King in the Master Bedroom, Guest Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed, plus a Sleeper Sofa in the Living Room to sleep 6! Lighthouse has an indoor pool, outdoor pool, sauna, hot tubs, grilling area, onsite security, and much more! This is the perfect condo for your next trip to the Gulf Coast.

New furniture in lounge area very comfortable. Main bed very comfortable - a dense memory foam mattress. Fantastic views from balcony. Very short walk to beach. Saw the dolphins and pelicans daily from the balcony. Guest bed looks like a queen bed but just has a regular spring mattress that didn't feel that comfortable to touch - we didn't test it out. There's no closet in that bedroom but there's a closet with shelves in the hallway. Very easy to find. We were surprised how late check-in on the 2nd floor was open. We didn't arrive until after 9.30pm. Great utility carts to unload all of your gear. Great idea. Didn't like having to wear an arm band - it was too uncomfortable. Maybe a stamp on hand would be better? The overall condition and cleanliness of the common areas was okay. Wear and tear. Pools definitely needed better cleaning and upkeep - they are well used. Plenty of toys and floats by the pool to use. Plenty of seating around the pool. Two hot tubs which were nice. Just needs a bit more maintenance. Bring your own swim towels Condo just has a few small maintenance things like cracked floor tiles, stained toilets, didn't try the bath tub but nice they have one for kids. Back balcony door didn't lock but we were so high up it didn't bother us. Some of the room darkening curtains had holes in them and didn't close properly but we made them work. One of the pillows was stained with what looked like blood but we bought our own pillows. Comfortable stay.

We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and listening to the ocean. We saw dolphins on a few occasions. Chairs were extremely comfortable. Property was clean and all employees I encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Meeting of the Minds

Great stay and very close to the Hangout. Great views of the Gulf, we were able to spot dolphins from our balcony on 8 of the 10 days we stayed.

Fall Break Beach Getaway

First time visiting Gulf Shores and it did not disappoint. This property was perfect for our family, well maintained, and updated with no issues. Will stay here again!

Great!!!!

Loved everything about the room and location. Absolutely perfect I loved getting off the elevator and the room right there. The balcony was wonderful and we really enjoyed setting out there. I will try to rent this room next year!!

It was ok

The condo property was very nice, easy to access, loved the washer dryer in the condo unit and the accomodations were nice. We didn’t have dish soap, spray cleaner for a mess in the bathroom, and the floors were not cleaned well in the corners, and behind the toilet. We have not stayed at a VRBO before so was surprised that we needed to buy our own toilet paper. My husband has crohns so it mattered to us. Probably wouldn’t stay there again. Overall it’s more of a personal preference in accomodations. Kathy Dauner

We love the Lighthouse! We stay in a different room every time we visit. We loved the beach chairs they had for us and kid beach toys. That was a blessing! The rental did not get 5 stars because it could have been cleaned better. The floors were sticky and we walked around right when we got there with shoes off and our feet were black. The fans were really dusty too. Overall I would stay in this rental again. Property management was awesome!

Family Vacation

The condo itself was somewhat clean. Unfortunately there was nasty food stored under the bed in the second bedroom and there was dirty underwear and a dirty bra in the master bath. The condo itself is a lot smaller than what we had thought. When it said it slept 6 thinking we would have plenty of room. It was very tight. The decor was nice. It would have been nice to have more cooking and baking pans. As well as simple condiments. The last condo I stayed in at the same place had all of this. It was a nice property just would be nice to ensure it's clean and have a few extras. We did end up leaving some beach toys and chairs because unfortunately we could not bring them home on the airplane. Hopefully someone else can enjoy them as we did.

Perfect Stay!

We went down for my daughter’s graduation trip with a few friends! We had a blast! The property was clean, had plenty of room, was stocked with all the necessities, and in the perfect location! The Lighthouse is our family vacation spot and will always be. We have not had a single negative experience!

Nice 1 bedroom!

We had a great stay at this cute little 1 bedroom condo. We love Lighthouse and have stayed at the many times in different units. This unit is advertised as a 2 bedroom, however it is only a 1 bedroom with a double/queen in bunk room. It is not a true 1 bedroom. The second “bedroom” is really small and doesn’t have a closet. Overall the unit isn’t as spacious as 2 bedroom. So very disappointing with the false advertisement. I even messaged the management company to verify it was a true 2 bedroom after reading reviews and was assured it was. After arriving and discovering it wasn’t a 2 bedroom I contacted management company and they worked with me to make stay work.

Girls trip

We came in during the Hang Out Music Festival. Probably one of the few who did not attend the music festival. Our overall trip was very enjoyable, didn’t hear a lot of noise even though we’re close to the elevator. The only suggestion we had was a blackout shade in the guest bedroom because the light in the elevator corridor stayed on all night and that could be seen from the room.

Amazing condo!

We absolutely loved this condo! The balcony was the selling point and it did not disappoint. The condo had 2 large pools, just steps from the beach, and close to several restaurants! We have no complaints and will definitely be back!

Lighthouse 1610

Overall clean, second bedroom small for having a full size bed in room not much room for storage. Having traveled from out of state you have to purchase everything need for every day use. It would nice to have starter items on hand. All thought it was noted on agreement what you would need, great if you were driving to resort, not so much if you fly in.

Loved Our Stay!

I cannot say enough great things about our stay at Lighthouse 1610. The location was perfect, and the condo had everything we needed! The views of the water from our balcony were amazing! Being right by the elevators proved to be extremely convenient, especially when carrying up luggage or groceries. I would definitely stay here again!

Second bedroom is ridiculously small. The bed came apart and the tv wouldn’t work. It took two days for maintenance to get there. Not enough linens left for a five night stay. Not enough toilet paper. Pans were not in great shape. Master bedroom and bath were nice. View was nice. This is our second time at this condo but through different management. We will probably try. Different place next time.

Beautiful Getaway

Condo was clean and comfortable. Spacious deck and spectacular views. Location was great, close to restaurants and amenities. Parking was convenient and plenty of carts for ease of hauling items to the condo. Elevators were plenty and functioning and surprisingly fast for 16th floor!
