Nestled in the peaceful Catalina Foothills, this condo is perfectly positioned with stunning views of the foothills right from your back balcony. There is also a community pool, hot tub, and gym steps from your front door!

At The Desert Hideaway you will be right next some of the best hiking trails in Tucson. You will also be walking distance to some of the top restaurants, bars, and stores in Tucson.

Please note: This is a second story unit, so there are stairs to get inside.

Very welcoming and efficient hosts who responded immediately to any emails. The location was excellent. Beautiful views of the mountains and close to trails. The condo had everything we needed!

Communication with Brady was great from the start. He was very prompt in getting back to us at any time we had questions. The condo was clean, comfortable and well stocked.The location was great - restaurants and shopping were close by and convenient. Neighborhoods for easy walks or trails in the Catalina Mountains were nearby. Downtown Tucson was an easy drive from there.We would definitely look to stay there again on another visit to Tucson!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Desert Hideaway. So many positives about this place. Clean, comfortable unit in a great location! Very comfortable beds. Excellent deck/porch with fantastic views of the mountains. Kitchen had everything we needed, and the olive oil and coffee beans were a great touch. Easy check-in and great communication from the host. We will stay again.

Mountain View Retreat

Great location that is close to restaurants and shops but very quiet and relaxing The views from the balcony was tremendous The host was very responsive to any needs that came up.

Great place to stay in Tucson

We enjoyed our stay at Desert Hideaway. Great location - easy walk to restaurants, easy drive to Sabino Canyon, and close to the loop bike path. The property was clean, with comfortable beds and well-stocked kitchen. Hosts were excellent about communicating and checking in.

Home away from home!

My daughter and I loved this place! The rooms are spacious, and the owners supply all the comforts from home that made our stay very comfortable! The aesthetic is very calming, beautiful and on trend, and very well maintained. We would definitely recommend it and would love to stay here again!

Beautiful Property in North Tucson

My son and I visited Tucson and picked this property to stay at. Everything was excellent. Beautiful patio and the location is close to the mountains and shopping and dining. Would definitely stay again. Host was an excellent communicator and check in was a breeze.

Family birthday weekend

Arrived Thursday…brought dinner in from a deli. Accoutrements were great….enough plates, glasses, silverware. Dishwasher worked great! The living space and kitchen suited 2 couples very well! We used the tennis court but not the pool. Location for our activities was great!

Well appointed - great location!

This lovely second floor unit was well appointed with two king size beds and two bathrooms. The location was perfect within walking distance of shopping and restaurants at La Encantata. Furnishings were comfortable and welcoming and the owners were extremely responsive. The close proximity to the pool was an added bonus!

The view is stunning

This unit was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The unit is right across from the pool/hot tub and the grounds are very well maintained. The unit was very well appointed and conveniently located for all the places we wanted to visit. Thank you for a nice stay

I had a wonderful experience at Desert Hideaway!This property is not only clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable, but the location is perfect. It is located near the gorgeous Catalina Mountains, yet you are walking distance to La Encantada’s shopping, restaurants and grocery store. I loved watching the sunset off the balcony every night. Gorgeous! It is also directly across from the swimming pool and hot tub, which was so convenient!Brady and Christy are wonderful hosts and very responsive to any questions you might have. Checking in and out was easy and instructions for everything else were clear. I definitely hope to stay again when in Tucson!

Would not hesitate to rent again if the need arises. Condo and its location are great.

Hosts were very attentive to any questions I had. Beds/pillows were fantastic. Only frustration was our not understanding TV setup instructions (we're not spring chickens). Would not hesitate to stay again

Great location, well equipped, clean & modern

Great location in the Catalina Foothills next to an upscale shopping center. Clean and efficient, perfect for 3-4 people with two separate bedrooms/bathrooms. Modern kitchen, clean modern decor, easy entry. Second floor location, parking out front. Great communication from host.

We were in town just a few days. Condo was well furnished , bedrooms were large with both having king beds which was great. Communication with owner was good as there was an issue with master bathroom before we arrived and they reached out to us the night before the arrival which was appreciated Great location close to restaurants, grocery stores and hiking Would stay again if ever in the area

My sister and I stayed at this condo from June 4 - 10, 2025. We were pleased with many things. The location was great (we rented a car during our stay). The condo itself was very nice with nice furnishings. The beds were very comfortable. We sat on the balcony and enjoyed wonderful views at all times of the day. The water pressure was great in the shower. The pool was conveniently located just across the street. The condo had things in the kitchen for our use whether eating breakfast or cooking dinner. The entry key lock was easy to use. The host was easy to communicate with. We will definitely consider staying here again if we should make another trip to Tucson.

Fast and friendly communication with the property manager, nicely decorated, great mountain view, beautiful and convenient location. A full length mirror would be a wonderful addition, but otherwise nicely equipped. I would definitely stay there again.

So many great things to say about this property! We've stayed in many VRBOs and this one is definitely in our top 3. Everything was wonderful, from the location (close to shops & restaurants, yet so quiet and peaceful) to the cleanliness of the property. It's tastefully decorated. The convenience and proximity to the pool was great. Typically, when you think of being by the pool, you think noisy, but not the case here. We loved being able to walk just across the parking lot to access it, and the condo provides pool towels for your use. We loved the balcony! We'd sit out there every morning and evening to watch the sky and the wildlife. Sunset watching with a cocktail was one of our favorite activities. As a birder, I especially loved the variety of species we saw just from the balcony. Right behind the property is a wash area with vegetation, so it was nice to see the wildlife pass by each day. Aside from many different birds, we also saw javelina, deer, and cottontail. Each encounter was exciting. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped. Starting the dishwasher was a bit of a trick (the door has to be solidly closed for it to start), but once we figured it out, it was fine. The bed pillows are amazing! We are picky pillow people, but we loved them so much that we ordered some so they'd be there when we returned home. Parking was also super convenient. The spot is right in front of the property. Communication with Brady and Christy was top-notch. We'll definitely return.

Great Location!

My Mom and I were in Tuscon for a short visit. This condo was centrally located to all of the sights we wanted to see as well as family that lives nearby. The condo was very clean, the owners were very responsive, and the whole check in and check out process was very smooth. We will plan on staying here again on our next trip!
