Randy & Marcy Phillips have lived next door for 16 years & when the opportunity came up to purchase this property, they knew they had to do it!
Marcy works in Quincy as a survey technician for an architectural firm & is an avid bird watcher/lover, in fact, she runs the Adams County Birders Facebook page.
Randy has been a multimedia producer for over 40 years, directing newscasts at a local TV station, then out on his own operating a video production company. He also is a commercial pilot & certified flight instructor who owns an antique Stinson Voyager aircraft(he'll be happy to show you a picture & talk your ear off about it!).
Together, they have turned a diamond in the rough, into a jewel of a home that you'll love staying in.

Relaxation is the key word to describe, The Getaway. The property is 1.5 miles from the main highway, so traffic is VERY light down the paved, blacktop road. Comfort & convenience are also plentiful here as well.
If you want to dine out, there's several restaurants close by, and dozens within 20-25 minutes as well as wineries, an excellent golf course & lots of historic attractions. If you want to stay in, our fully equipped kitchen is ready & at your disposal.
There's also a bbq grill outside & the "clubhouse" (garage) is a nice spot to hang out in the evening with a few beverages while you watch the sunset.
