As a premier host I have this Peaceful , quaint little hideout . 2 min. To The Bluestore for the best breakfast ever ! 2 minutes to DQ ,. 3 minutes (ish) to Taco Bell Sonic,Subway and brookshires grocery and more . 10 minutes to Tyler . While here please visit The Tyler Rose Garden. 30min.to Canton trades day ! 5 minutes to The Villages resort and marina .
Efficiency style with counter with barstools . ( replaced the table and chairs for more counter space and storage ) Microwave or Toaster oven ( your choice ) , electric skillet , crock pot , small air fryer , hot plate and fridge , etc. ! Full size bed and futon can opens to full size also .
Plenty of parking for your boat ! Also the reason for no current reviews is I had it off the calendar for months when my mom was very sick and I was out of town taking care of her till she passed away . 💔

The hideout is a very cozy, and very clean place. Jan was very nice to deal with. If I’m ever in the area I will be rebooking the hideout for my stay.

Home away from home!!

The property was excellent and the hostess could not more pleasant!! We felt like it was a little home away from home without all the chaos from home😂 Excellent location out of town but close enough to enjoy all Tyler has to offer

Excellent Property and Fantastic Host

We all run into issues in our lives. Our host kept me updated well before our stay and after check in. Very quick response with every question. The property is perfect for a quick getaway to the Lake Palestine area. We will definitely book this site again.

Quaint getaway, perfect for our needs

Jan was a perfect host! She made sure all of our needs were met and even brought us Strawberry Cheesecake dessert! It was storming very badly the day we were to leave and Jan sent us a text to extend our stay if needed because of the weather. That was so nice because i was not sure we were going to make the 11am check out time with tornados in the area.

Cute quiet cabin

Nice compact cabin for a short stay.. it was convenient to Tyler and places we need to be. It was a quiet and restful place. The owner was available to answer any questions. It had everything we needed.

Yet ANOTHER Wonderful Stay

This truly is a Hideout, in the best way - a spotless retreat, and yet near many places. My wife and I have had 2 long stays here, enjoying a full kitchen and all amenities, at a price that allowed us to stay long enough to completely relax. Jan, I should add, saw to our few needs almost instantly. A gracious hostess, but letting us be private as well. Perfect for couples seeking some peace, or a place near the lake, or writers wanting to finish their book, or, or. Cozy and welcoming.

Consistently wonderful!

If you are looking for a nice, quiet, clean, comfortable place to stay away from home and you are looking in the area of The Hideout, look no further! Jan is a wonderful host and always has everything just right when you arrive. She has added a nice little patio with table, chairs, and grill which isn’t depicted in the picture just yet. I stayed a few days and enjoyed the quiet peaceful time, getting away for a bit. Her setting is perfect, backed up to woods. I sat and enjoyed the birds on the patio this trip. I’ve stayed several times before and will definitely stay again! Thank you Jan for making my stay perfect!

Returned to stay again

This was my second stay at The Hideout and it was very relaxing. Jan has everything anyone would need in this cozy cabin. I was there for 2 nights to have some “me” time and enjoyed the quiet, peaceful time. Thank you Jan. I will return again. You have a great place for anyone wanting a bit of a getaway.

Excellent Cabin

We came to Lake Palestine for a fishing tournament. Cabin was perfect and parking the boat was no problem. Jan was an excellent host! If we come back to the lake, will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!

Anniversary Stay

We loved this small space. Quiet and secluded, but very close to many fun options. We visited Tyler and the arts district. We will definitely be coming back to the area.

A Perfect little hideaway!

The host were amazing! The place was super cute, had everything you could need. Very clean and organized. The location is perfect for having to visit the grocery store or eatery’s. I highly recommend staying here. This is by far one of the best AirB&B I have rented. Thank you Jan for all your hospitality.
