Crisp Refreshing Pool, Lake View, Entire Home

Welcoming and peaceful one-story private retreat in beautiful Lago Vista with pool and a lake view. This home boasts great natural light with an inviting pool, great for kids and adults alike.

Relax under the shade during a hot summer day or under sparkling hanging lights at night in one of the hammocks. Lounge by the fire pit in the winter wrapped in a blanket while watching the sunset. Sip french press coffee in the mornings enjoying nature and spotting deer. Whichever you prefer, the backyard oasis offers it all.

The open floor plan is perfect for family gatherings with lots of room for guests to relax. Enjoy breakfast in the kitchen nook or the dinner table that seats 8.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need.

If you want to dip your toes or swim in Lake Travis, play disc golf, or build a sand castle, you are only a 5-10 min drive to all the private Lago Vista parks with a guest pass. Don't forget to pick out your favorite river rock to paint back at the craft table at the house.

13 min to Arkansas Bend State park and 11 miles to Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge for hiking. 40 minutes to adorable Marble Falls and iconic Austin.

Boat parking on the side of the house available. Boat ramp open at one of the private parks.

Heated pool available Nov, March and April (not available Dec, Jan, Feb) when temperatures are above 60 degrees. A heated pool is not a hot tub. The water temperature is in the 70s dependent on ambient temperature. Very pleasant for swimming when temperature is in the 60-80s and sunny in the Texas! My kids love it!

This stay was a family trip to visit relatives, ages ranged from50’s-90’s & included our small dogs. There was enough parking for us (2 cars, but up to 4 when the relatives were there), and it was fairly easy to get my cousins with mobility issues inside (1 step up to the porch/door, then 1 step in). Taking them out to the pool area was more difficult as there were more steps & no handrail, but we were able to manage with all of us helping (1 cousin on walker, one with cane). At night it is really dark-we never found the switch to turn on lights by the garage, only the porch light-so we used flashlights when taking the dogs for a walk. The house was comfortable-big enough to spread out but not so big that it isn’t cozy. We had the pool heated & were able to swim each day we were there. We had to wear flip flops around the pool deck b/c so many nuts were falling they were everywhere. It was a very quiet & peaceful neighborhood. The deer were everywhere! Our last night there were 5 bucks and 12-15 does at one time in the grassy area behind the backyard. We absolutely loved our stay & are already looking to see when we could go back!

Relaxing Memorial Day weekend!

The house is beautiful and comfortable for a long holiday weekend with family. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and views during our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and ideal for walking.

Family vacation

Was a beautiful clean, very family friendly house. The beds were comfy to sleep in. Kids loved the pool. We loved everything about the house. Felt very cozy, and welcoming. Home away from home.

Myself and my family enjoyed our stay. The house was well stocked and had all the amenities we needed for the long weekend. We enjoyed the beautiful views and the wildlife in the area!

Experience

Pool was nice. Massive red wasp nest next to front door and one in back yard inside the bird feeder. Master shower has a mold smell when you turn it on and the shower head leaks really bad. Be careful when turning the vanity faucet on. It'll completely drench you. Hall bathroom toilet didn't work and we weren't notified of it.

We loved our stay! The house was beautiful and clean, our kids loved the pool and never wanted to get out, and Camille was the best host! She is super communicative and nice :) we will be back!

Comfortable home

The home was clean and comfortable. The yard need weekly maintenance because of the trees dropping nuts on the ground and in the pool. The pool was not cleaned during our 2 week stay. Communication with owner and the pool guys did not show. Overall a pleasant experience enjoyed the deer and the cute painted rock section.

Phenomenal Stay!

We LOVED this property for our little family getaway. Feeding the local deer made it extra special since we never have experiences like that in Las Vegas! Our kids enjoyed the pool and loved their beds ☺️. There was also paddle boarding at “It’s a Beautiful Place just 3 minutes away and that was great to get out on the lake. We were sad when it was over!

Just a few hiccups

Overall we enjoyed our stay even though the pool turned green. The property owner worked hard to rectify that issue. Just a few little things that need attention. The Jack and Jill tub stopper did not work. Only 1 bulb on the patio lights works. The fireplace spot light bulb is out. FYI, dimmer switches for the kitchen and living room would be so awesome. Due to health issues, we cook a lot and the kitchen could use a few large serving bowls and platters. The beds were great and the AC worked exceptionally well. Overall, a great trip with family.

Weekend get away

Our family of four enjoyed the beautiful views from the living room, kitchen, bedrooms, and backyard. We loved swimming in the pool and relaxing in the hammock. We enjoyed the parks nearby. So many great areas to take a walk and just get outside! The house provided everything we needed to cook, eat, relax, and sleep!! Overall, we enjoyed our stay !!

We had a great time at the house!

great property to stay at. Just a couple things for you to look at. Maybe put slip proof slips on outside steps. When they are wet, 2 of our gals fell on them. I also tripped and fell over the carpet that sticks up in living room. Kitchen neefd some type of can opener. We had an overall good stay!. Just wouldn't want someone to get really hurt

Beautiful Location

The house is amazing and very clean. The pool and backyard was not cleaned properly upon arrival, yet the manager of the house was promoted to fix it! Recommend for a nice relaxing weekend!

Great Lake Travis Escape!

Peacefull Point was a wonderful house for our spring break visit! The property owners were wonderful to work with and easy to communicate with. They thought of everything! The showers were stocked with shampoo/conditioner/body soap, the pantry had ample paper towels, trash bags, spices and the kitchen had all of the cooking supplies necessary. They also provided pool/lake towels. The house binder had all the information needed to enjoy the house as well as the surrounding area. Thank you Camille for a great stay and a wonderful spring break!

Felt like home

The property was very comfortable with several nice touches. The backyard with the hammocks and lights, for example, was enjoyable. We spent time at home, the area, and also made several trips in to Austin.
