This home has great potential! It has wonderful gathering spaces, a beautiful pool, outdoor games, a swing set for the littles, and loads of bedrooms/bathrooms for a large group. HOWEVER, we definitely had some issues while there. There were two big problems: 1. The pool thermostat was broken and was not reading the correct water temperature, so kept heating the water. When we arrived, the water was 110* degrees--definitely not usable for children or adults. Maintenance did come the next day, however, all that could be done was to turn off the heater and let the water cool down. (Not easily done with sunshine and 80* days.) By the second night, the adults used the pool as a hot tub, and the kids could finally get into the water on the third day. 2. The AC froze up twice! Again, maintenance came both times. The second time, it was determined that more freon was needed. (Why did it take 2 trips?) There were also other smaller issues. For example, a stabilizing bar for the kitchen sink faucet is missing so the flexible faucet swung around and sprayed water when turned on. For a house this size, there were limited plates/silverware and no serving bowls, etc. Also, we had just enough towels for everyone to have just one towel. With a 6 day stay, we definitely had to do laundry. Any of these issues would not be a big problem on its own, however all together it felt like a lot! While this home might be a mansion, it needs some upkeep and TLC to make it "majestic."
