This house is located in downtown Nimrod, MN. Walking distance from the Crow Wing River and local dining. Enjoy a cold drink or hot coffee from the spacious deck over looking main street. During the summer you can enjoy local entertainment at the Nimrod Bar and Grill or catch a Nimrod Gnats baseball game on a Sunday afternoon. The Crow Wing River is within walking distance where you can tube, canoe or kayak the beautiful river. During the winter months you can snowmobile the local snowmobile trails or ice fish on a local lake.

Great House

Fantastic house, very clean, plenty of room, and great communication with host. Had a family reunion and it was the perfect place for my family to stay. Will us this house for future visit.

Amazing Property in a Awesome Community

My family meets each year for deer season in the area our family began. We needed a place close to our hunting area. This place fit the bill and Tamatha is an amazing host. House is decorated very tasteful, and the kitchen has everything you need. Will rent the place again!

Family get away

Our stay was very enjoyable. This place satisfied what we were looking for. We had a family wedding approx 10 minutes away so it was great that our family could all stay together in one place. Only suggestions would be less twin beds add more queen beds. We also noticed that the water in the house had a smell to it? Overall a great place to stay and would not hesitate to book in the future.

Bachelorette Party/Wedding weekend

This place was so clean with a nice kitchen and living room. The rooms were great and comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean, with enough towels etc. For all of us girls! The deck and surrounding outside was very nice and quiet. It was a very comfortable and beautiful place for us girls I would totally come back for another fun weekend with friends and family!

Perfect Getaway!

We reserved this property to do some kayaking down the Crow Wing River and it didn't disappoint! Communication with the owner, Tamatha, was great. The house was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and well-equipped. We loved the added touch of the coffee bar. :) The house fit six of us adults perfectly and the beds were a comfy respite after a full day of sun and paddeling. This home has every amenity you could want or need. We'd like to make this trip an annual tradition and would love to come back! Thank you so much for sharing your perfect home away from home with us! Teresa

Cozy, Quiet

We stayed here for the better part of the month of June for work we were doing in Staples. With that being said the mosquitoes were pretty bad but Tamatha had repellent and candles on the ready! The house is very nice with a huge shower. There were 7 of us grown men and we all comfortable beds to sleep on. The days when we were lazy and didn’t feel like cooking the saloon two doors down had good food and great drinks, say hi to Brock! I will be contacting Tamatha next year for the last phase of work in Staples!

Perfect House!

Our stay for 4 nights included my family of 5 and my husband's brother's family of 3 for a total of 8. It fit all of us comfortably. Everything was SO clean & nice. There were even ATV/UTV trail maps laid out for us- which is what we mostly were there to do. The kitchen had everything you would ever need! The shower never ran out of hot water (which is always a fear of mine with rentals in the past never able to keep up). There was a really cute fire sitting area out back- which we didn't use- the gnats were a little thick in the evenings- but there were bug candles provided for us on the beautiful deck- which we did use a bit! Everything was so modern & comfortable! Nimrod is a VERY quiet town- which was nice- everyone seemed to wave at us! We ate at the local bar one night- which was ok- but lacking in service. After our stay, we started moving back towards home & stayed in a hotel- which was SOO disappointing after staying at the Walter's for 4 days! They were SUPER easy to work with. I extended my original booking a day- which was not a problem at all. If ever in the area again, we would certainly stay here again in a heartbeat!! This is a beautiful home, you will NOT be disappointed if you stay here! Thank you!
