Come enjoy life in the country! Beautiful, modern cabin sitting on 50 acres, with stocked pond, covered dock and firepit. Less than one mile to Enochs Stomp Winery and within two miles to Bear Creek Smokehouse and Event Center. All of the conveniences of home, with all of the joys of country life at its best. Get away from city life and come enjoy the silence!

Always a lovely stay at the charming cottages in Marshall. The homes are very well appointed and comfortable. The grounds are peaceful and pretty.

Stayed 1 night for a concert at Bear Creek. Loved it! clean, nice amenities, shower was wonderful...a heated toilet seat, which i had never actually seen or used. Would definitely return again.

Our Favorite Getaway

This was our second time staying in these cabins. They’re beautiful and very clean. It’s a quick 5-minute drive to the vineyard. It was perfect for our night away.

Quiet, Country Cabins

Beautiful location. Host was great. Wish we had more time to explore the grounds. The cabin was exceptionally clean. Highly recommend.

Really had a great time at the Cottonwood cabin. The whole place is exactly as advertised. Really is a peaceful and quite place. The cabin is just beautiful. The owners do a great job of providing everything you need. They take the extra steps to make your stay special. We live in Ga. and my stepson and his family live about 15 minutes from the cabins. We will definitely be back. P.S. The coyotes howling at dusk was really cool.

Enjoyable getaway

We had a wonderful time staying in Cottonwood Cottage!!! The setting is peaceful and serene, and the cabins are beautiful!!! The owners were very attentive! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay!

A little piece of heaven in Harleton!

I absolutely LOVED our stay at the Cottonwood cabin! The house is beyond precious and the setting is just so peaceful! The host couldn't have been more of a joy to work with. Everything was just so wonderful that I didn't want to leave! We will definitely stay again the next time we visit the Lake O' the Pines area!

An Absolute Gem of a Cabin—Peaceful, Thoughtful, and Perfect for Our Fishing Trip!This cabin is simply amazing: immaculate, beautifully maintained, and situated on a serene 50-acre hill that offers the ultimate peaceful escape. My husband and I booked it for a weekend fishing tournament on Lake O' the Pines, and it was only about a 25-minute drive—such a smart choice over other options! The place provided the ideal spot to unwind after a full day on the water.On our second night, our son joined us to fish the final day of the bass tournament, and we were both pulling bass boats. Host Lori was incredibly accommodating, making parking a breeze and ensuring everything went smoothly. Her communication was top-notch—responsive, friendly, and truly a highlight of the experience.The owners have gone the extra mile with thoughtful touches and amenities that make you feel right at home. We even had the chance to meet Mr. Ivey and Lori, which added a personal touch to our stay. We're excited to come back once the wedding venue is finished—the Chapel is already breathtaking! If you're looking for a spotless, welcoming retreat, this is it. We enjoyed our time immensely and can't wait for next time! Highly recommend!

Stories and Songs 2024

Everything about this property is a 10+. Lori keeps the properties pristine, the addition of the snack basket, smore basket and fire starting kit is an awesome plus!!! We come every year for the Songs and Stories fundraiser and this property never disappoints.

Lovely Cottage

This is an wonderful little cottage in the woods by a lake. There are 3 cottages and the property owner is so easy to work with. Lori made everything worry free. The cottage is clean, modern, and very comfortable. The pond and the water features are beautiful. Peaceful retreat near Bear Creek Smokehouse event center with Longview, Marshall, and Jefferson all within easy access! This is an ideal location and property.

Peace & Quiet

My daughters & I loved this little getaway. My youngest & I came to visit my oldest at ETBU. I prepared Thanksgiving dinner at the cabin for us because my oldest couldn't come home due to basketball obligations. We spent time on the pier talking, watching the fish surface & enjoying the quiet. It was wonderful. I will be back!

Perfect little cabin/house. Very clean with a lot of amenities like towel warmers rain, shower and heated toilet seat even. The grounds were very well-maintained and surroundings are beautiful. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I own fifty beautiful acres in Harleton, Texas, where I grew up. Our home is on the front of the property ad we recently cleared the back 25 acres and enlarged our pond. We built three cabins and a covered dock, and are now excited to share our serene space with others. I love having people who enjoy the beauty of our area of the state and are so happy to share our little corner of paradise.
