This amazing three bedroom house is literally next door to shopping plaza and community pool. Just 5 minutes drive to downtown and Penn State. Also on bus route. Quiet and pleasant, you will enjoy being in this historic section of town. We are close to everything.

We had a very pleasant stay at this property. We primarily used it for sleeping as we were busy elsewhere during the days. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. We did not use the kitchen facility so cannot comment on that but the rest of the house was perfect as a place get a good nights sleep and showers with great water pressure. We would stay again if the opportunity arose.

Cute, cozy, well appointed stay in State College

My partner and I had a wonderful time staying with old our college friends at this well appointed home. The hard wood floors, spacious bedrooms and cute kitchen put smiles on our faces as soon as we walked in. It had been over 25 years since we were all at Penn State together. It was a memory making stay. Just perfect.

Had it all!!

We were in town for a USA field hockey event and there were no hotels in town available. We found this gem a few weeks before attending. It accommodated 7 - teenage girls and 3 moms, no problem. It had all the benefits of a VRBO- show up and have everything at your finger tips- from towels, to coffee - it was great not to have to pack for a week when only staying 24 hrs. Hosts were communicative and worked with us from booking through check out! Great find!

Perfect for a weekend stay!

A cute property that looks just as pictured. The host was very responsive before and during our stay. We appreciated all of the amenities such as towels, soaps, bottled water, snacks, air mattresses, clean sheets, etc. A great location for getting downtown. We would definitely stay here again!

Restful Stay

The accommodations were clean and very comfortable. Located in a quiet residential area make it very easy to unwind, rest and relax.

Penn State/Michigan game November 2023

Wonderful property! This is the perfect space to accommodate multiple family members. We found the property to be very clean and accurate in it's description. Very convenient proximity to town. We had a great time and would recommend to others.

Parents Weekend Penn Sate

This was a great location and perfect for two families visiting their Penn Sate Students for parents weekend. We could easily get to campus and it was a great hangout. Convenience of grocery store across the street a huge plus!

White Out Football Weekend

I stayed in this house during the Penn State White Out game last weekend. The house was a perfect base for our weekend activities. It's right off Atherton Street and close to downtown, which gave us plenty of options for places to go and things to do. I would stay here again when I come back to State College.

Great Stay

This is a nice option for a larger family gathering than a hotel or motel. Beds were great, bathrooms had decent pressure, house is maintained well & the air conditioning worked great to battle heat and humidity. We were moving my daughter into PennState and appreciated being close to the school and shopping. Having a grocery store and coffee/bagel shop across the street was super convenient. I didn’t realize there was not a washer/dryer on site - all the rentals I’ve been to do have one so I didn’t catch the absence of one - but there is a wash&dry less than a mile away open 24 hours.

Excellent experience!!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this home during my daughter's college graduation weekend. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the house. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, with plenty of space for my family to spread out and relax. The house was equipped with all of the modern conveniences we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen and reliable WiFi. The location was also perfect, with easy access to all of the local attractions and amenities. What really made our stay special, though, was the hospitality and kindness of the owner. They went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed and that our stay was enjoyable. It was clear that they take great pride in their property and in providing their guests with an exceptional experience. Overall, I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in State College. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Clean and convenient in State College

Brought 5 people to the Kenny Cheney concert at Bryce Jordan and found this rental a perfect place. Not very large but big enough and comfortable. Well appointed and clean. Supermarket and bagel shop within walking distance. Owners are very accommodating and accessible. Good place and would definitely recommend for a football weekend and any other reason to be in State College.

We are close to everything and right across the street is a small plaza for convenient grocery shopping. We like the proximity to the city centre. Walk or take the bus. Nothing is far away.

Our beautiful charming cottage (we like to call it) was built during the Second World War and is part of the historic district of State College.
