I loved this cozy house! It was very clean and very comfortable! It was so convenient to everything in Farmville. I was able to eat at several restaurants and do a lot of shopping near Longwood University because it was only a 1.5 miles from the cottage. I was only 5 minutes from Hampden-Sydney College, which allowed me to go back and forth to help my son move back in for his senior year! I hope to be back very soon!

House was clean and well equipped. Easy communication with owner. Very close to Longwood and High Bridge Park. Would stay here again if in town.

The house is on a quiet street close to downtown. Plenty of room for parking and spacious inside for guests. Very clean and comfortable.

Outstanding

***** 5 stars...cozy is correct! love this house but the owners are awesome...stayed over 4th of July weekend 2025...stove stopped working fri nite...they had a new one installed by 4pm Saturday on a holiday weekend...that's INTEGRITY!!...I really don't want to leave this house...love it!!!!...ho hum back to work 5 stars!!!‼

Great Graduation Weekend Stay

We came in for Longwood University graduation! We knew coming from Ohio we wanted to be able to just chill and relax and not be cramped in a hotel for 4 nights. The house was perfect! There was plenty of space to spread out and just relax and hang out with family after graduation! We would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Wonderful

Perfect location. House was clean and pefect space for time with friends. Super cute house well taken care of. Jessica always responded within 24 hrs to any questions. Will definitely stay again if we come back to this area.

Great choice in Farmvill

This was our second stay at this charming house. Very comfortable accommodations for five of us this time. Location is great, convenient to downtown and Longwood University. Highly recommended.

Charming Comfortable House

We had a great stay at Germantown Cottage, a lovely, up-to-date and immaculate house with a convenient location close to downtown Farmville.The beds were very comfortable and the living area and porch were just right for our needs. The house was a great base for a visit to our kids and grandkids in Cumberland. Jessica and Parker were wonderful and thoughtful hosts. Very highly recommended.

Longwood graduation

4 adults and our 2 year old granddaughter for our youngest sons graduation. Great house, close to campus and restaurants. Jessica was fabulous, house was great. Highly recommend!!

Our Stay in Farmville

Jessica and Parkers home was spotless. The photographs do not do it justice. It fit all six family members perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings. A great way to begin the day! The house is well situated. Farmville it just a short drive(minutes) and H-SC just a few miles. We will certainly stay here again!

Second Time Stay

Our first experience staying with Jessica last year was so positive that we did not hesitate making our second trip include another stay in her lovely home. We really appreciated the privacy and quiet neighborhood as well as the responsiveness of our hostess. Wonderful memories were made, and an excellent vacation was had by all.

comfortable stay for a heart breaking visit

First trip to Virginia. First stay in a VRBO

Our son is attending a seminary in Virginia, and this was our first trip to visit him. It was also our first experience using VRBO. Until this vacation, my family and I had never stayed in anything other that a hotel, and we would never go back! Jessica's home was lovely and clean, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. We loved the privacy and extra space. Everything went exceedingly well. The check-in process was a breeze, and any questions/issues we had were addressed promptly. Jessica even left us some treats when she stopped by to drop off a few items for our stay. This was definitely a positive experience and helped make our first visit to Virginia a tremendous success!

Relaxing home away from home

We had a wonderful stay while visiting family for Thanksgiving. Everything we needed was at hand and we were so comfortable at the house. It was wonderful to have a home base to come back to throughout the day and at nights. We will absolutely be looking to stay again next time we are in town.
