Quiet Mid-Century A-Frame Retreat w/ Mountain Views
The Oso A-Frame cabin has been fully remodeled to provide a serene mountain experience. A quick 5-minute drive to Lake Gregory, the cabin sits perched on a hillside, allowing private, expansive views of the sunset. Brand new bathrooms and fully stocked kitchen invite you to truly relax and enjoy time with family and friends. Remote workers welcomed with ultra-fast wifi.

The space
Thoughtfully designed, the interior pays homage to its 1960s origins with restored wooden beams, warm tones, and Eames lounge chair to capture the essence of mid-century living with a refreshed aesthetic.
The large kitchen is equipped with brand new appliances, Nespresso, pantry staples, spices, and all the cookware you could wish for. The upper deck provides ample lounge seating and dining areas served with a natural gas grill.
Both bathrooms are brand new and stocked with shampoo, body wash, and conditioner.
In addition to two dedicated bedrooms, there are two sleeper sofas: a king sleeper sofa in the downstairs media room and a full sleeper in the living room. A pack and play, baby gate, and hatch sound machine are available as well for the little ones.
Remote workers are welcomed with ultra fast wifi, mesh network and ample desk/table space throughout to take calls inside and out in the fresh air.
Guest access
Guests have access to the indoor space and decks of the cabin. There is a small utility room on the bottom floor and garage that guests do not have access to.
Other things to note
The driveway is at an incline and can fit two parked cars. To abide by short term rental permit regulations, you must park in the driveway. Street parking is not allowed.
There are two sets of stairs from the driveway to the front entrance which includes a dirt pathway in between. There are railings on both sides of the stairs going up to the home but no railing from the driveway and concrete steps, please use caution when walking up.
This is a human friendly home only. No pets can be accommodated.
The cabin is a quiet retreat/getaway- no parties, no loud noise, no smoking.
We are located on a secluded street on the opposite side of Downtown Crestline. It is a quiet neighborhood, please be respectful of our neighbors. Quiet hours are from 9PM-8AM.
Wildlife abounds as we are frequently visited by blue jays, deer, lizards…and have spotted the occasional fox and bear (where the cabin’s namesake originated).
