Disfrute viendo el amanecer en la terraza de la bañera de hidromasaje Hot Springs. Tener una fogata en la playa en la noche. Esta es la vida en el lago. Pesque desde la orilla o en bote para nuestros famosos walleyes, muskies, bass, norte. Muelle privado para su embarcación.

Nuestra cabaña es limpia y acogedora. Cabina para 6 personas. Tres habitaciones; dobles en dos habitaciones y dos gemelas en el tercer dormitorio. El baño tiene una ducha.

This location was wonderful, beautiful views and very convenient to have landing and docking in private, quiet bay behind residence. Bugs were immense outside and needed to be fogged. Holly was available when needed and communicated well. Bedrooms had small beds, but comfortable and clean. Beach was great for kids and swimming. Hot tub on site was not working. Cabin is next door to property owner residence, cameras on property as well. Overall a good experience and would stay again!

100% DO NOT RECOMMEND

Very deceiving.... 100% would not recommend, I've stayed at better motel 6's then this. Hot tub did not work (and we were not notified), overall property was not maintained, trees around deck need to be trimmed, deck was dangerous, doors didn't lock, and windows were extremely inconvenient as you had to take the screens off in order to open the windows, which are needed in the summer when it's hot and there is no AC.

Amazing Location

Perfect getaway for our family. Nice private boat launch and private dock in the lagoon was great with no waves from the main big bay. Kids loved the beach.

Week on the Lake

Great time...Great location on the lake...own beachfront on the lake....Family enjoyed plenty of walleye fishing , swimming in the bay, kayaking, hiking trails, nights in the hot tub and sightseeing...cottage had everything we needed...surprise 3rd bedroom...thanks for all the memories....

Nice Place

I spent a week here, just me and my dog. I was just looking for some quiet relaxation time. The cabin is small, but clean. The beach is lovely. We had to drive a bit to find good hiking trails. There are a few options less than 30 minutes away. There's a huge privacy fence blocking off this cabin and another from the rest of the neighborhood, so you do get some privacy, but I definitely wouldn't call this secluded.

Clean, great location, wonderful property

We (my wife and two sons 9&11) spent six days at this property. The house and property was clean, equipped, and centrally located on the lake for easy access to explore the area. The outdoor patio area and beach was great. It really made the stay a wonderful experience. The cabin wasn’t much, but we were there to do outdoor activities. But it was very clean and comfortable. The lagoon behind the property was an awesome addition. Having a private boat launch made things way easier. Also being able to safely dock my boat in the protected lagoon and not on open water was worth the price of stay alone. The property manager was also very accommodating and quick to any minor issues that came up... such as grill propane tank running empty. Our only negative was the WiFi. All of our devices (two iPhones, kindle, and ROKU) were able to recognize the WiFi signal, but all of them erred because the signal was “too weak”. I believe the router was at the neighboring property and wasn’t strong enough. So in essence, we really never had WiFi during our stay. I would still strongly recommend the property and if we return to Lake vermillion, I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Area

Property is right on the water with a dock to leave your boat so you don’t have to load and unload daily. There is no washer and dryer, but the listing didn’t say there was. We were charged for additional guests Holli said she would check on it. She then text me that there is a charge for guests above (2). The home sleeps (6) so we do not understand the charge and I did not see it noted in the listing. The hot tub is great, everything you need in the home, beds were comfortable and Minnesota is beautiful.

Beautiful Spot!

We enjoyed every minute at this beautiful spot. From the cabin to the beach, everything was perfect. The cabin had all that we needed and the outdoor space was even better. The outdoor furniture was perfect for dining, playing cards, or just reading by the lake. The hammocks were much more comfortable than I expected and I wish I'd have discovered that sooner! We enjoyed the very nice spa tub on the deck and a swim in the lake after with the beautiful sky and stars in the cooler evenings. The beach is perfect with a sandy bottom and a slow grade to it. Beds are very comfortable with good pillows. The linens and towels are nice, no thin white towels you might expect at a rental. We will be back. Thanks for sharing this beautiful spot Holly! Comfortable cabin with marvelous lake beach and boat docking

The cabin is most comfortable with wooden deck for dining and a hot tub. Appliances, grill, and bathroom in good order. Facilities are pet friendly and our dogs loved the lake beach. We enjoyed docking our boat in the protected lagoon, kayaking on the lake, hiking nearby trails and fishing every day for smallmouth bass and walleyes. The owner was very attentive to our needs and any questions. We hope to return for another relaxing week.

a little slice of heaven

The cabin is on a lake and is rustic as it should be. But everything feels clean and incredibly well taken care of. This property is loved. Holly is a warm and genuine person who goes out of her way to see that her guests are happy. And we were, oh so happy.

Great setup for privacy!

Nice setting on the point with a large privacy fence. The beach area with the burning ring is a great feature! The cabin was clean and stayed cool during the day. The private dock in the cove is a super feature! Very easy access and good protection from bad weather and windy conditions! The deck and the new hot tub were very nice to use! We would highly recommend this location!

Worth Every Penny!

We needed a get-a-way for a chance to enjoy a bit of summer while we still could. We needed a place where we could relax and reconnect, somewhere quiet, with nature and a private swimming and campfire area, and able to accommodate/occupy a 3-yr old and our family dog, Ginger. To say this place did the trick would be an understatement. The setting, the amenities, the owner, Holly, - all met our every need. Oh, and that hottub!! We've stayed at many other places that were very nice, but this is the whole package! We could have easily stayed several more days and will plan to do so next time! This was easily worth every penny!

From the metro

We had a wonderful time at Birch Point Cabin. It was very clean and welcoming. The deck was wonderful as was the hottub. We also enjoyed the fire pit. The view was lovely and we had lots of fun fishing. The lagoon is a great place to keep the boat and to fish off the dock. Holly was a wonderful host, always available and helpful if we had a question. The kitchen was nicely stocked. The only thing I would say is there were a few things missing in the kitchen that we needed. We were staying a week and when cooking, I couldn't find measuring cups, spoons or a good bowl to mix in. Otherwise, the kitchen stuff all matched and was very nice. Thanks Holly for a great week.

Great week, Great view, Great Amenities!

We had a wonderful, relaxing week on Lake Vermilion! The hot tub was enjoyed daily as well as nightly fires on the beach. The protected lagoon for our boat and private launch was a huge plus. The large deck, chairs on the beach and hammocks were wonderful. Holly was very responsive to our needs. An added bonus was the ability to bring our two year old Brittany. We hope to return again soon!

Perfect Family Getaway

We've stayed at this cabin for the past 2 years in a row. We have 2 young children and the location and swimming for them is absolutely perfect. While we've stayed at other cabins before this one is the best. We walked to the marina for ice cream daily and enjoyed fishing in the lagoon as well as on the lake. Perfect swimming beach for the kids and very private.

We had 4 people staying at this cabin getaway and had a great time. We did have one hickup on our trip but the owner Holly took care of promptly. The private protected boat dock was a huge plus. We would stay here again. one suggestion would be a washer and dryer. Laundry was difficult with 2 females. Perfect for a guys trip

Great Property and Location

We had never been to Lake Vermilion before for an early fall fishing trip and were pleased to find such a wonderful place to stay. Our group of 4 fishermen were just looking for a place to sleep for those times we weren't on the water, but found the amenities of Birch Point fantastic. The owner was more than gracious and so very accommodating. The cabin is in a perfect location to get anywhere on the lake that you'd like to go without an extra long boat ride. The canal and 60 foot dock is perfect to safely keep your boat on the water and has everything that a fishing party might need. The cabin itself is very clean and well kept and has everything that you might need for a week long stay. The hot tub was perfect for a sore back after a long day on the water as well. The surroundings were nearly perfect and each evening was spent around the fire on the beach. I was apprehensive renting from VRBO, since I had never done it before, but found everything went smooth and was as advertised. I highly recommend this property for fishing parties, families or couples wanting a perfect vacation getaway. Well done Holly. Fantastic time had by all

Very nice clean and well stocked cabin

My wife and I have rented many cabins through VRBO on Vermillion. This was one of the best. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The lake view is great and even more enjoyable while relaxing in the hot tub. As a boat owner you could not ask for a better set up. There is a private access with plenty of room for parking your trailer and you have your choice of docking space in a protected harbor. The cabin had every thing you could need from hand lotion to cookware. All were top notch! We will be back next year. Thanks for everything.

FUN week!

The cabin is very nice, with a great deck that includes a big spa, nice gas grill and plenty of seating. Fire pit on the beach, hammocks, and yard lighting a nice touch. The calm lagoon in back is really nice for tying up the boat. Birch Point is great for running and biking. The cabin is ideal for 4 people but can hold a couple more.
