Thanksgiving getaway

Thanksgiving was absolutely perfect in the cottage. Close enough to Fairfield so my college aged kids could see their friends but felt like we were in the English countryside. Unbelievable charm and comfort/ we adored our stay!

lovely property

The cottage has all one would need for a short relaxing stay, including a light-filled sunroom and back patio overlooking the lush grounds. If you are looking for a quiet, private property that is close to several restaurants, delis, and I-84, you cannot beat this cottage.

Rented as home away from home while remodeling done on our house. The cottage is cozy but it worked out great for us as we where able to bring out dogs as well. The owners are very nice and the grounds are beautiful Everything yea clean and well cared for. Very Charming. Lots of good hiking in the area.

Just perfect place to spend the long Labor Day weekend. Peaceful, quiet, yet close to town. Straight out of cottage magazine, English countryside vibe, beautifully curated with whimsical and comfortable furnishings. A charming gem!

Beautiful, peaceful country cottage

Just minutes from Newtown, yet completely in the quiet of the beautiful Connecticut countryside…. We totally enjoyed our stay! Geoff greeted us in the driveway and was welcoming and super helpful the whole time :) The cottage is beautifully furnished, cozy, and comfortable….very unique! Plus the property is gorgeous… Highly recommend -

Simply fantastic

We can’t say enough good things about our stay. We got in late at night and Geoff met us in the driveway to show us around. The place was immaculate and so gorgeous. Both Geoff and Mieke were consummate hosts and we just had a blast with them! We can’t wait to go back

Artistic and charming

A charming cottage set on beautifully landscaped property. We loved sitting outside on the patio. The interior was warm and comfortable, beautifully decorated, filled with tons of charm. The kitchen was equipped and we cooked several meals. Loved grilling on the patio overlooking the pool.

Charming Cottage

Rarely when traveling are my expectations exceeded but I would rate this property a 10! The cottage is like a storybook and decorated perfectly. From the second we walked in, it was 90 degrees but the central AC was blasting away. The grounds were perfect, the pool was perfect, the cozy kitchen, the cute bathroom and Geoff and Mieke gave us such a warm welcome. We definitely hope to be back often.
