Beautiful Lake House in Point Chautauqua- Available Year Round! NEW BUNK ROOM

Our updated lake house has enough space for your friends and family to relax and unwind with beautiful lake views. The top level features a large open floor plan for everyone to spread out. Kick back on the comfortable leather couches and watch the big game on the smart TV with cable (NEW SPORTS CABLE PACKAGE- details below). The dining room is lined with windows to take in gorgeous views of Chautauqua Lake. The composite deck wraps around the top level of the home to take in those golden sunsets.

The lower level features a cozy game room which includes a pool table, a ping pong table and a wall mounted connect 4. The game room has a smart TV with cable to watch during a game of pool. Right outside the lower level is a stamped concrete patio with an additional dining area and hot tub. The hot tub is a perfect place to relax and look at the peaceful lake.

Point Chautauqua is a historic neighborhood which features beautiful tree lined streets and breath taking sunsets. The community features a community swimming area, lakeside playground and park with tennis, pickle ball and basketball courts. You will see more golf carts than cars on the quiet streets in the neighborhood. The only lake access for the property is the community swimming area. A dock is not included in this rental.

This home and view is very beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. Kate was great to communicate with as we had a death of a friend after we had booked and she worked with us through that process. We had 10 adults and we had lots space to hangout. Favorite space was the deck for a perfect view of the sunsets!

Walk ways were not cleaned at all, ice on the parking, also we had to showel the snow to get to the grill, very few towels provided, no coffee or tea, some rooms are nice and warm and some are very cold, in general nice and big house with fabulous view of the lake

Family get together

We had 9 in our group (5 adults and 4 children). There was more than enough room for all of us. The property is well maintained in a quiet private community. We had all the cooking supplies we needed to celebrate our Thanksgiving. The pool table, ping pong table and hot tub out back are an added bonus. The host is extremely responsive. We would definitely come back. Especially in warmer months. Thanks Kate.

Wonderful home! Snowed in at the perfect place. Grandkids loved playing pool and being in the hot tub. Playing out in all the snow was an added bonus! Plenty of room for all of us!!

Wonderful Fall Getaway

Home was beautiful with more than enough space for 6 of us (family of 6 with 4 older teens). View was breathtaking with amazing porches to enjoy it. Everyone spent time relaxing in the large family room, playing pool, and lounging on the hot tub. We did a number of activities including the Comedy Museum (highly recommended and hikes but we enjoyed just spending time at the house. Would definitely come back.

Chautauqua getaway

Fantastic property, wonderful view with all the necessary amenities and then some! Very comfortable beds, kitchen is well stocked and lots of seating both indoors and outdoors. Communication with host was excellent! Highly recommend.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay - a very convenient location for getting to Bemus Point, Midway, and the Chautauqua Institution. The home was very well kept, easy to access, and plenty of room for eight adults and one grandbaby!

What a welcoming, well-equipped, clean, bright and airy home to spend your vacation. The host, Kate, was very attentive and answered our questions quickly and thoroughly. Our group of 11 ranged in age from 18 months to 60, and everyone enjoyed their stay.

Family Getaway

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. There were 10 of us which included 2 small children. The neighborhood, the lake, the house , all of of it was extremely relaxing and just what my family needed. Kate was kind and easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions we had. John delivered the golf cart before our arrival. We can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful stay at lake Chautauqua

Beautiful setting. Very bright. Lots of light in the living space. Hot tub was a hit among the pool table. Very little accommodations in the kitchen as far as amenities. No cooking spices or condiments. But that’s ok! Just ensure you bring your own! Wonderful stay. Thank you! Tons of memories and fun had!

Winter Get-away

We had a great time! The house was very comfortable, spacious. We were there in the winter to check-out Mayville's winter festival and to ski, but it was SO cold and windy we hunkered down. There was plenty to do between the hot tub, playing in the snow, having a fire in the fire pit and enjoying movies by the fire. Great spot if you need time away from home!

We had a great girls trip, there were plenty of outdoor covered and uncovered areas and seating for our group so we could enjoy the view. House was clean and big enough to spread out.

Enjoyed Our Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the house with our friends. The view was great, and the location was quiet. It was a bit large for the four of us, but we needed to be close to Chautauqua for a specific event and this location suited our needs. This house is great for larger families and has amenities for children and young adults. There were enough household items (toilet paper, dishwasher pods, sponges, etc.) to get us by for a few days. Also, there was enough gas for grill usage. The dishes were plastic or Corelle so no concerns of breakage. There were plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans for meal preparation. It appeared as if the fireplace pilot light was not lit. We tried to turn it on one evening because it was cool, but it did not come on. Switches throughout the house were marked and that was very helpful. The check-in/out process was efficient, and the owner was very responsive. We would consider renting this home again.

No matter the time of year this property is stunning. In the summer you can jump in at the community swimming area, in the fall you can roast marshmallows at the fire pit, in the winter you can warm up in the hot tub and in the spring you watch the snow melt by the cozy fire place.

Most people will use golf carts (or their feet) to get around the neighborhood which makes the neighborhood even more peaceful especially if you have little ones in tow.

Point Chautauqua was designed by renowned landscape architect Frederick Olmstead. Olmstead is most famously known for designing Central Park in NYC. You will appreciate the his expertise and thoughtfulness when you stroll the tree lined streets of the neighborhood. Olmstead designed the community with serpentine streets and beautiful lake views at every turn.
