Casa Salida is a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom ideal for 2 families. You will love the 360 degree views and amazing sun room to sit and take in the sunsets. The Casa is located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, so we have a strict “no party” policy and request quiet hours are honored from 10pm-7am. In addition, the house offers Wi-Fi, plenty of parking, a fully appointed kitchen, towels (including beach towels for the river) and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as, toilet paper, trash bags, salt and pepper, a variety of spices/cooking supplies as well coffee filters.

Spectacular Salida

This property is beautifully located, very near the center of town but far enough out to be free of noise and tourist bustle. Views from the fully glassed in sunporch were magnificent.

Peaceful and quiet, just minutes from downtown Salida

Was peaceful, and clean, with amazing views from civered back patio! Have been riding dirtbike out of Salida for 18 years! And a clean peaceful house is so much better than hotels in town! Was perfect to be so close, but seemed like it was out in the county! Only minutes from downtown though!!ridindirtbike dirtbike

Frustrated vacationer

Upon arrival to the property, we found it was not cleaned from previous occupants. The owner was very quick to get a cleaning service there within an hour of our arrival. But after 15 hours of travel,we then had to get back in the car and wait for 2 hours before we could go back to the house. The teenagers were not liking that. The property has a large mouse problem. Stay off the couch!! Mouse droppings were in the front closet, food pantry, and under cushions of the couch. The mice moved food out of the pantry and onto the floor of the kitchen. So gross! My son broke a fan blade and instead of replacing a single blade they replaced the whole fan of which now he wants to charge me almost 700I will not stay in this place again.

Beautiful view!

We had rescheduled our spring break trip a few times therefore I got my dates mixed up and we actually arrived 1 day earlier than we had the home booked for. When I reached out to the owner, he was very kind and worked with us. As we went out to dinner, he had his cleaners prep the home and we were able to get in a day early! During our stay, a winter storm came thru and the owner communicated each morning when to expect the shoveling crew to arrive. The pictures online don't do the home justice as the view was beautiful. The sunroom was very nice to enjoy. Kitchen was well stocked for us to cook in and Safeway was just a short distance to purchase groceries. Master was very large... beautiful view, large vanity to lay out toiletries, king size bed, and the tub was nice to soak in after a day of skiing. Convient to have a washer & dryer. If we return to Salida, we would stay here again!

As Advertised

VRBO photos are current. Location is convenient to downtown but in a quiet and beautiful location. Host responded immediately to questions. Mattresses comfortable, even the bunk beds. There were a couple of oddities - couldn't find overhead lighting in the living area (but lamp and lighting in surrounding rooms worked), the dishwasher was full of what we assumed were clean dishes so we had to unload dishes from the previous guests - but overall a great place at a reasonable price.

This is an amazing house with a view of the mountains, perfect for a family getaway and close to downtown Salida. Highly recommend
