Large Updated Historic Home Short Walk to Downtown

Stay in this spacious private home w/in walking distance to downtown & the Grand Theatre. Our historic home sleeps 10 and includes a full kitchen; Butler's Pantry; separate, bright, laptop-friendly office/workspace, free fast Wi-Fi (1GB fiber); new, super comfy memory foam beds; inviting outdoor space; formal dining room; bright breakfast nook; 2 full bathrooms; and 3x TVs with Roku and YoutubeTV / HBO Max / Disney+. Before exploring enjoy our Coffee Station with an assortment of coffee & tea including to-go cups!

This home was built in the 1940's and retains the charm of that era while being updated with modern amenities.

You will have access to the entire home including a large shaded yard, plenty of off-street parking including two covered parking spaces.

For the young kids we include a sleeping Pack N Play, Maxi Cosi self-standing high chair with tray, City Mini Stroller, and baby gates.

There is a quiet office/sunroom away from the main family room with high-speed Wi-Fi that is great for getting some work done.

NOTICE: Snacks provided contain nuts / peanuts.

The home definitely serves its purpose to my family. The only shock value was the train. Im not use to hearing a train what seemed like every hour. Other than that the trainnitself was a great alarm clock to get an early morning start. The host was available late due to my finger having an issue pressing the correct numbers for the keypad. If i have to visit the area again. I would definitely stay here again. Hate i forgit to sign the guest book.

Big , Beautiful and Clean!

This home is so spacious and very clean. We had 4 vehicles and parking was no issue. The home is very well equipped. There was nothing that we needed that it di not have. My cousins came from IN and Ga so that we could go to Ocilla and look at our grandparents home and go to some cemeteries. We used the dining room to look at pictures we brought and we used both sitting rooms. The bathrooms were very nice and well equipped. The beds had foam toppers and were very comfortable. The bedroom with 2 beds has a sound machine by the bed which was great because there were trains going by very near day and night. I would highly recommend this home for your Fitzgerald GA stay.

I am from just outside of Fitzgerald and my family still lives there on our farm. My husband and I purchased this house on Merrimac in order to spend more time near family. We have spent the past couple of years updating this historic home and we enjoy spending time there.
