Peaceful Home near Blue Ridge Mountains
Welcome to Whiskey Ridge!
Conveniently located on the outskirts of Boone, just 14 minutes from the heart of downtown, Whiskey Ridge is a comfortable home surrounded by peaceful wooded scenery and a mountain view. Tweetsie Railroad, Appalachian Ski Mountain, downtown Blowing Rock, and the Blue Ridge Parkway are all less than 30 minutes away.
The living room on the main level features comfortable furniture centered around a stacked stone gas log fireplace and a mounted flat-screen Smart TV with programming and streaming. A spacious kitchen with stainless appliances, bar stool seating, and a dining area with wooded and mountain views is next to the deck. The main level deck has a gas grill and seating for outdoor relaxation.
The master bedroom is on the main level and features a king bed, a flat-screen TV, and a private ensuite bathroom. Upstairs are two queen bedrooms and a full bathroom.
The downstairs family room/game room has a large Smart TV and several fun games, including shuffleboard, foosball, a full-size arcade machine, a Paw Patrol arcade game for the kids, and toys for guests of all ages. The additional room downstairs can accommodate four with two twin bunk beds, and the family room sofa converts to a queen sleeper.
Two pets are welcome with your reservation, and pet fees will apply. Guests will enjoy the fire pit with Adirondack-style seating overlooking the wooded and mountain views. There is a hot tub to relax in at the rear of the house. There is Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, and the upper floors have central heating and air conditioning. The lower level has baseboard heat, an electric fireplace, and no AC. The gravel driveway leads to a level parking area with room for 3 cars. A few steps bring you onto the covered front entrance deck. A Ring doorbell camera captures the front porch and a portion of the driveway.

Access note: The gravel neighborhood road is steep and rutted. All-wheel drive or four-wheel drive is highly recommended year-round, in addition to using tire-mounted snow chains during snowy conditions.
