Peaceful cottage with lovely hosts

We had a wonderful stay. Our hosts greeted us warmly and their dogs were so sweet. Everything was as described, with comfortable furnishings and a perfect courtyard oasis. The recommendations for restaurants and nearby attractions were spot on.

Laid Back

This little guest house in nestled into the trees of the back yard and was just perfect for a long weekend. Vincent and Danielle were perfect host. They met us at check in showed us around and made sure we had their cell number for any needs. We had a private sitting area on the porch as well as in the garden. We just felt very relaxed the whole visit. We will definitely return.

Great Location

The location is great...one block off the lake on the harbor end of the lakefront. Vincent and his wife were great hosts and attentive to our needs. The kids had a great time playing with Freya, their German Shepard. She got in a little trouble following them to the lakefront though. Overall, it was a great stay and we will definitely stay there again if we're back in the area.

Nice Stay in Old Mandeville

The guesthouse was in a perfect location in Old Mandeville. Hosts were extremely accommodating and accessible. Property was exactly as it appears in the pictures.

Fabulous Getaway

Absolutely loved our stay! The area couldn't be more perfect. Just steps away from the amazing Lakefront with its historical live oaks. Several dining choices with great views. So incredibly peaceful and beautiful I was missing it before I even left! Accommodations were neat and clean with everything we could have possible needed. Our hosts were amazing. Can't wait to go back!

Mandeville Haven

Beautiful property. This property made traveling with two toddlers as stress free as possible. The guest house is set back away from the street. The kids loved playing in the courtyard and I enjoyed reading a book in a rocking chair. Vincent made the check in process easy. He was very friendly and accommodating. There are so many things to do nearby as well.

Beautiful Quaint Stay

The outdoor space was beautiful and quaint and indoors was cozy and inviting with all the necessary amenities. The property is steps away from the Tammany Trace and Lake Pontchartrain. Mandeville has many activities, restaurants, and shopping. It is also minutes from New Orleans. Our hosts were both charming and accommodating. I would recommend Old Mandeville Guest house.

Quaint atmosphere in the heart of Old Mandeville

We loved our stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had what we needed. The location was great just one block from the lake and in walking distance to many restaurants and shops. We felt safe as well. The host were very accommodating accessible.

Like something out of a movie.

This is an amazing location. Everything to do like dining, bar hoping, the lake and bike trails are all very close. Our host was very accommodating and had great suggestions for different things for us to try. They had bikes available to use to ride around the town along with a detailed list of places to go. The neighboring the area are also very friendly.

Perfect home away from home

Thank you, Vincent and Daniele for a wonderful stay in your guest house. We are from the area and were back in town visiting family. Having your place to come back to each night made our trip spectacular. We enjoyed walking to restaurants and bars in Old Mandeville and woke to birds chirping every morning. They went way above and beyond to make us feel welcome and take care of our every need, even having specific baking items in the house for our holiday baking. We arrived feeling like renters and left feeling like family. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit home.

Great Hosts and Great Location

The guest house was just what we needed. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location is one block from Lake Pontchatrain which is beautiful. The hosts, Daniell and Vincent were warm and welcoming. All we had to do was ask and they were very helpful. Would we go back…absolutely!
