Our stay was very enjoyable! The house had everything you needed plus many extras. Also, it was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Our host was wonderful and welcoming.

Absolutely adorable house, even better in real life. Comforting atmosphere, beautiful design, already have everything what you need. Communication with a host: 10 out of 10.100% recommend this place.We are planning to come back and rent this house during the summer.

This is our second time staying at the Duck House!! It is very comfortable and relaxing. The screened in porch overlooking a meadow is bliss. Thoughtful extras for kids/ babies! And of course Bess is wonderful and the ducks are adorable!

The most clean, comfortable and cozy rental we have stayed in. With family now living in Greenville we will certainly return to The Duck Farm Cottage.

Great Location

Great location close to lots of great attractions but you feel like you’re off the grid. The kids and adults enjoyed the home and of course the ducks. We were well taken care of as the host was very responsive to every request we made. Couldn’t ask for a better stay, we will be back!

My family had a very enjoyable time. It was extra nice having the pass to Paris Mountain State Park. My children loved, feeding the ducks, and my older sons enjoyed playing darts. Perfect for our family.

Wonderful Stay

Bess was amazing. Such hospitality was a great addition to an already great experience. Highly recommend this little cottage. We will be back on our next visit to Greenville.

Great spot near Greenville

Our family of six really enjoyed our time. The house was very clean and well appointed, with lots of thoughtful touches. Bess was very attentive to any needs that came up during our stay. Would highly recommend staying here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our family. The home is fully equipped, clean, more spacious than the pictures show. Very comfortable beds! Daily feeding of the ducks with our two year old, Going on hikes in the national park right across from the home. Very thoughtful touches like welcome package and daily food for the ducks.

An excellent place to stay

The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. There is a nice selection of board games which our family enjoyed. Lots of places to sit, eat, and play. My kids enjoyed feeding the ducks. I would recommend this place.

Adorable

We loved this place. It had plenty room for four adults, and friends that visited. It was quiet. We enjoyed the ducks and cats. Will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Family reunion

This was a great location for our family reunion that included a lot of cooking and trips to the local state park. The home is very comfortable and well-organized. We looked forward to feeing the ducks daily.

Very nice property .. hostess was very accommodating— we loved the thoughtful gift basket and bonus filled dish on the side (gotta stay there to enjoy it!!… shhhh). Loved the access to the state park — would stay again …

Beautiful home and the best host

The house is tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac, and it is a natural paradise. Everything inside and out is so well thought out and maintained. The attention to detail and personal touches are so appreciated. The home is immaculate and well stocked. And the best part is the level of attention Bess, our gracious host, gives to her guests.

Perfect getaway!

Bess was an excellent host! The home was tasteful and welcoming, and the ambiance was peaceful and homey. Our kids loved seeing the ducks and watching them play in the pond. Bess was always available and overdid herself in making us feel welcome. We highly recommend staying here!

Family Time

What a wonderful place to stay, relax and go see what Greenville has to offer. Bess had everything perfect for our families arrival. Such a beautiful home, and the children loved the duck farm. We will definitely be back. I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else. We are so happy to have found it!

Better than home!

We so enjoyed our stay- all the comforts of home and beyond! We enjoyed making meals in the kitchen, coffee on the screened in porch and visiting the ducks. Tucked away but easy access to everything. Loved the bonus of Paris Mountain State Park across the street. Family of 5 stayed comfortably for a baseball tourney- and on top of all the thoughtful touches, the extra sink was perfect for scrubbing baseball pants! I hope we will come back because I’d love to stay here again!

Great place to stay

The home and the gardens are truly lovely. The owner really made us feel welcome. They also had a bunch of sporting equipment (basketball, baseball gloves, etc.) that the kids adored playing with. The kids also loved to be able to hurl duck food at the ducks. The house is in a great location and a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely go back.

What an amazing property! The house is tucked back in a cul-de-sac and feels incredibly private. Cleanliness was definitely not an issue…the house was immaculate! The hostess, Bess, really added so many small details that make the home so much more special-like the artwork throughout, the welcome gift, and the hand drawn map in the hallway just to name a few. Feeding the ducks was so much fun and the highlight for our 20 month old daughter. There were even age appropriate toys for our daughter as well. The kitchen is probably the best stocked of any home we’ve rented before. Our one tiny issue (batteries for a remote) was fixed in less than 5 minutes. We’re already planning our next trip and look forward to staying here again!

Cozy, Quiet, and Peaceful

Bess is a wonderful host, providing kind and generous hopitality, and quickly responds to any questions that may arise. Duck Farm is a cozy, clean, and comfortable house peacefully and privately nestled in a wooded setting, with the duck pond just steps away from the front door. The beds are very comfortable, and every room in the house is completely furnished with every possible thing a guest would need and want. It was a wonderful place to stay during our time in the Greenville area.
